I've said it before and I'll say it again, if ever anyone earned their retirement from wrestling, its Mick Foley Edit: with the exception of The Undertaker. Undertaker is a class of his own, and in my opinion is the only wrestler to be near synonymous with Professional Wrestling itself. Undertaker deserves more than retirement, he deserves a god damn statue and probably more.

The Average wrestler W W E makes about $500,000 a year and a few very few making $1,000,000 or more. Average MLB $ 4,360,000 Average NFL player $2,700,000 NBA average $7,100,000. Kofi should have remained a mid-carder. His abilities are nothing special whatsoever. His ways of making sure he wasn't eliminated in the Royal Rumble were all clever but other than being used at the Rumble, they serve no purpose in his day to day wrestling matches. To sum it up, he's nothing special. Handing him the championship has only served to lesson the importance and legacy of said championship.

Realistically the WWE should enforce and fund it, but they're cheapskates so they won't, the irony is that it'll cost them a lot more years down the line when there's a queue to file a lawsuit against them because they wouldn't provide insurance or health checks for their employees
@lewisblackwiththenicehair
@lewisblackwiththenicehair 4 жыл бұрын
@@thebee9907 the problem with brain injuries is there's little that can be done for them, I imagine a lot of them would rather not know than find out and then just be counting the days until they're not able to function normally, theyve got kids to feed, bills to pay, they're goimg to go out and wrestle regardless. At the end of the day nobody goes into wrestling thinking it's kittens and rainbows, I guess it's just a part of the job description, at least if the WWE enforced it they could make people take time away from working to try to mitigate some of the damage. I also think they really are behind the curve expecting the wrestlers to foot the bill for medical care, in any other major sport the teams have extensive medical staff both on the front and in the backrooms, from what I've gathered WWE just seems to have the bare minimum they're required to

He was sitting at the back of a bar at a pool table with shirts, posters and his monster energy drink just waiting for people to say hi. I only noticed him because I spotted him when going to the washroom. When I finished and went back to my table, I said to my friend and then girlfriend: "Hey, um, Mick Foley is right back there.. Wanna go say hi?" So we went. At this point maybe 6 more people went back to talk to him. after they were all done, we had our shot, then Mick asked us if we wanted to be a plant for him to ask him a specific question at the end of his show as part of the act... Will never forget that. Guy was amazing, and so endearing and lovely.

So with Kurt Angle he did have bad atrophy in his arms but I'm almost certain the time frame you're referring to, he was preparing to make the Olympic Wrestling team again. Slimming down and training conditioning heavy was part of the training. He decided against it because he kept getting injured in training.

I totally agree with what's mentioned. They put themselves through so much pain and suffering just for our entertainment. They deserve much more respect and admiration than people already do. One should not post bad comments regarding any wrestlers. After everything is known to the fans, they should be respected more. It's a thanks from the bottom of my heart for all the world wrestling entertainment performers to do this much for their fans. Please support this comment if u have similar views.
