10 things you didn't know about the women of North Korea.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
North Korea is a fascinating country that tries hard to maintain a level of secrecy. Despite the lack of information about this region, intel about the way the country is run has leaked to other areas of the world. One of the most surprising aspects is the way women are treated and the jobs they’re forced to work. From rice inspectors to farmers, and forced labor workers, we’ll show you a few of the shocking ways women in North Korea make a living. This is: 10 Weird Jobs All Women MUST DO In North Korea.
A few of the most prestigious jobs for women include a traffic cop, an entertainer for their leader, and a pop star. These women are handpicked by Kim Jong-un and are considered some of the best looking women in the entire country. Those who aren’t chosen to work directly for the leader are forced to work in low-paying jobs that are designed for the lower class.
In most countries, a teacher must have the right credentials in order to teach students. However, in North Korea, a woman only needs to have some major accordion-playing skills in order to become an educator. Make sure to watch our video to find out which song they play for their students every morning.
While some women go the legal route and take jobs in the military or as a decoy churchgoer, others head to the black market. Selling illegal goods has become a booming industry in North Korea, and many women are forced to skirt the law just to make ends meet. If this all sounds interesting but a bit weird to you, make sure to watch our video. Let us know in the comments which of these odd jobs shocked you the most.

The tone of this video is a bit off. The cheery music and the oddly peppy tone of voice doesn't work when your discussing forced labour camps. If your going to do a video about a topic like this try to treat it with a bit more weight and gravity. At least change the background music.

10 Weird Jobs All Women MUST DO in North Korea....... #1, a select few women are chosen by Kim Jong-un to be traffic cops based on looks alone. Okey dokey.... so if all women must do that, but only a select few are chosen, what happens to the rest of the women?

i really just want to tell the people there thats theres more to the world than they originally thought and that there is more possibility than they could ever imagine. I want to tell them that information can be transmitted in seconds, that most people dont have to starve, that women have more rights and the the average salery in other countries are actually much higher. I want to tell them that you can wear short skirts and sleeveless shirts without being punished by the government, that you can grow taller, and eat more food and experiance more flavors. its just so sad to me that these people dont even have the right to look at their options for music, one one the most expressive and beautiful forms of art

Are you that naive or do you just support Kim Jong IL? I find you as repulsive as a roach and instead of attacking sane people who find this cheery content disrespectful, why don't you just MOVE TO NORTH KOREA, TOMMOROW. Since you seem to support it so much and deny the facts. Scumbag.

North Korea most certainly isn't a nice place but this video is pure propaganda and rubbish like this only serves to detract from the real situation its unfortunate citizens find themselves in. For example, the inmates of Labour Camps most assuredly do not have to pray every morning in a country where any form of religious worship is prohibited, as the video itself tells us only a few minutes later.

you can't be ignorant if you were brainwashed and programmed to think a certain way that you believe is the norm of the society and those who wants to escape their so-called norm in NK will only end up in far more severe consequences such as the labour camps or even death

It's great to see women finally having the right to do the work of men. Here is the West, we keep women down and stop them from digging trenches and anything dangerous. Equality for western women! We need more female miners and road workers.

I think you are using your channel in a wrong way... literally every other video of your now is about North Korea and a positive one.... so I am unsubscribing from your channel... I am not with North Korea I think their decision is wrong and neither am a fan of trump.... but I think politicians are enough to start the war and spreading the hatred... you can do a better job.

+Arche Nova I'm actually considering whether or not you're a "troll", your comments simply add nothing new and certainly don't make you seem all too...bright? Not saying that you may not be an unintelligent person, but you just seem to drag a lot of unnecessary ideals into your comments. I'm fairly sure that people understand that America isn't perfect, but can I ask you why you believe "Zionist Jews", as you put it, are the single reason why America's politics seem to not be the best? I'd love to hear your insight.
