As a fan of France, Yoann Gourcuff should have been on here. They were calling him the next Zidane and he started pretty well actually. He performed some of the same moves and was a key player for Bordeaux (same club Zidane once played for) when they won the title in 2009 and made the ECL quarter finals in 2010. He even France player of the year for 2009. But then we all found that poor bastard had glass legs. You sneeze on him and he gets injured for like 2 months. Frustrating. He had so much potential, especially for a country has a history of world class creative midfield players.

I remember exited about going to the Brazil-USA game hoping for a show from the Samba boys, but what I saw was Adu and an impressive USA team run circles around the Brazilians. It was unreal to see the USA completely dominate that game. I also got to see other countries play, and it was clear that Argentina's Aguero was the top talent in the tournament.

Lots of misinformation on Dos Santos. He was the best player on every club he's played on besides Barça and Tottenham. Never got a fair chance on the latter because of Redknapp. He was amazing at Villarreal, leading his team to victory against the best teams in Spain, and has always been fantastic with his National team. Signing with LA was an odd move for sure.

dos santos? he may not have reached the absurdly high expectations but he was and still is a great player, he always performed for the national team and was a great player to have on the pitch, hopefully he can return to his 2011 days when he destroyed the USA

Bojinov is a stat padder. Bottles up numerous chances a game. Just so happens to be at the right place and right time to score. As a Partizan fan I'm glad Djurdjević and Djurdjić have sat him.
