And don't forget he insisted to wrestle Bryan at Summerslam 2013 despite being injured. And being pinned clean nonetheless. Also his US Open challenge run in 2015 was top notch.

He changed it to make it a bigger more dramatic comeback. Again, it could have been done in a less "Fuck The Nexus" way, but ultimately Cena had nothing to do with his being booked to win the match; that was always the plan.

In fact,here is the very short list of heels who retained at Wrestlemania: 1. Yokozuna*: I put an asterisk by his name because while he retained against Lex Luger at WM 10,he lost to Bret Hart the same night. 2. Triple H: Not only was he the 1st heel in Mania history to walk away with the title,but was only the 3rd WWE superstar to retain at Mania at that point. 3. Randy Orton:The 2nd heel to ever retain at Mania and had the biggest hill to climb in his match because he had to go against Cena and Triple H in a triple threat match,so the odds weren't in his favor and yet he won. Miz is 4 on this list,now given the fact that he was only the 4th heel in Mania history to retain,I'd say that's impressive.

After the streak came and went no one wanted to put others over more than the undertaker. He's a great guy, but most can't be put over by him since his character is so powerful that not many can believably beat him. Beating the dead man gave Lesnar a big boost, and Reigns... well love him or hate him he is not on the level of taker in the ring.
