Which one wrestler deserved to win a Rumble but never did?

Kane never winning a Royal Rumble match still upsets me.

Chris Jericho definitely should’ve won a Royal Rumble, if not 2012 then 2017. This would’ve made his eventual feud with Kevin Owens over the UV title all the more memorable.

Kane appeared at 19 royal rumbles and never won. That makes no sense to me

I think 2011 was C.M. Punk’s year to win the rumble. He definitely would have been a better choice than Alberto Del Rio and then maybe he could have faced John Cena at WrestleMania instead of The Miz.

If Punk won the 2014 Royal Rumble, he would’ve had a WrestleMania main event that he wanted, even if Daniel Bryan wants to challenge the wwe championship against Orton, it coulda been Orton vs Punk vs Bryan if fans are excited about it.

Heyman Saved Roman from having bricks thrown at him if he won.

Don't forget Shayna Baszler she was supposed to win the Women's Royal Rumble match in 2020 but Vince decided his Golden Child Charlotte Flair to win it.

Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig is/was the most underrated Pro Wrestler. He put on amazing matches, smooth in-ring when performing maneuvers, and sell a move like no other.

I still can't believe, that the ending of 2005s Royal Rumble has happened by accident. It was just perfect. They both hit the floor at the exact same time. It showed, that Cena and Batista are equal and the future top stars of the company. But perhaps that's just my opinion.

Jericho is the only one on this list that should have never changed. Every other Rumble change was for the better but them deciding to swerve us because fans were expecting Jericho to win was a case of sometimes the obvious choice is the best choice.

The worst damn call they ever made was making Sheamus win the 2012 Royal Rumble instead of Chris Jericho especially since it led to that 18 second bullshit match with Daniel Bryan at WM28

John Morrison should of won back in 2009 when he was tearing it up and over on smackdown or 2011 when he was being pushed and featured with the main eventers

The current roster needs the help from old wrestlers to make events feel specail. There is a couple that can wrestle and have mic skills but not many. WWE creative has to pick up their game or the next Summerslam is going to need Goldberg, the Rock, Hogan, Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold and Triple H etc. to strap up and carry the weight.

Punk should’ve won in 2014, Jericho should’ve won in 2012 Kane should’ve won in 2001 Ambrose should’ve won in 2016 Big show should’ve won in 2000 Ziggler should’ve won in 2019 Change my mind.

Honestly, i believe Santino Marella should've won the 2011 Royal Rumble. Even during the 2012 Elimination Chamber, you could hear how loud the crowd was for him. He deserved the win. He also should've showed up at the 2020 Men's Royal Rumble.

I hate the internet . They just tell us the matches that will be happened . They tell us spoilers. They returns which make us shocked before the event and not getting much shocked at live event. i think daniel bryan deserves a royal rumble win to have his last world championship reign before his retirement as he said that he is having his final full time run in the WWE

Glad they went the way they did in 2006, it was really needed... And Randy is/was my all-time favorite male wrestler on the show. I was really young then, but I remember really cheering for Rey to win that, especially after losing Eddie. We needed that.

I just wish a surprise mid-carder would win, just to show that theoretically _anyone_ could win. As it is right now the fans know that the tag-team wrestlers won't win, neither will the cruiserweights (expect for Mysterio) or the one-night-only entrants (the Hurricane or Kevin Nash), but why couldn't a mid-card wrestler win it at least once? In 2021, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Sami Zayn, or Elias could have shocked everyone and won.

I'm really glad Rey won after Eddie passed away. I think we all needed to see that, and to essentially make an underdog story out of the rumble and have the winner honour Eddie's memory was a good move on their part. Roman deserved to win, though. I have no idea why he gets the heat he does. He's entertaining, he's good at wrestling. Why do people have a problem with him?

They did right with rey, he has offered much more than he got from the company.

The biggest shame is that Kane was never ever even considered to win the rumble. He surely is the greatest ever rumble performer & he should've atleast won one Rumble match. Also, the other 2 superstars along with Kane who should've won The Royal Rumble are Punk & Jericho...!

I remember there were even talks as far back as October of 2013 for plans for Punk to win the 2014 Rumble and face Orton at Mania for the title. But then Batista came back and well....we know what happened.

I hope one day there will be more 50 man greatest royal rumbles in the future, and guys like kane and big show win them. i would've prefer kane winning the 2011 rumble instead of alberto del rio. Also i've dreamed of undertaker and triple h being 3 time rumble winners like stone cold. i've wished that there was a 50 man rumble last year and in 2019 and the Undertaker taking part in both and winning them. and i hope Triple H wins one last rumble and hits the magic 3. this year it could be The Fiend bray wyatt, bobby lashley, or Aj Styles

1991 Andre the Giant I'm not sure how many fans remember, but Andre was originally supposed to compete in that Rumble, but had to withdraw due to injury (which was why Brian Knobbs was in the Rumble but not Jerry Saggs). I'm not sure if it was ever officially stated, but I'm convinced the original plan was to have Andre enter at #30 and win it all as a fitting send-off to his in-ring career. With Andre out, Hogan pretty much HAD to win to placate a crowd that was already extremely angry that Sergeant Slaughter had stolen the title from the Ultimate Warrior earlier in the night - which ironically was all due to Hogan's politicking backstage to get the belt back by convincing Vince that Warrior couldn't hack it. Even more ironic - Savage-Warrior thoroughly outshined Hogan-Sarge at WM VII, proving to everyone that it SHOULD have been the Main Event, only for the title instead of their careers.

No disrespect to CM Punk, but I am VERY happy they decided to let Cena win the 2008 Royal Rumble. I think if you're a top superstar and you come back from a major injury like that, you pretty much HAVE to be booked to win a major event like that, or everyone will think that injury was too much for you and you need to retire.

The first Royal Rumble in 1988 should have been a 30man with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. Andre the king of battle Royal should have won the very first Royal Rumble.

Rewatching that 2008 rumble, CM Punk winning would’ve been a better match imo. Although I see why they went with Cena with him being able to return so early, maybe if he wasn’t a human adrenaline syringe.

I would have loved to see Aleister Black vs Brock Lesnar. Drew was good as far as how it actually played out but if they gave it to Black, he would have had the move set, height and toughness to really give Lesnar a run considering he's smaller than Lesnar.
