I'm an MLB Scout. In my opinion, for a 10 year old, he's pretty advanced. I wonder how that pretty swing translates to performance on the field. I've seen some really pretty college swings and the kid is batting .230. I can't sell that to the decision makers. I like his mindset though. Work hard and over time, he expects to start seeing some separation in skill from his peers. Silky, don't forget about school. Career ending injuries happen all the time. But I love how you're all in.

Need more involved black dads. People here trolling on a kid for having, blame your parents for not investing in you. That's who you really should be hating. Keep grinding Silky we know who you are kid. Yes, there are much better kids than him around the world, that's why there is so much entertainment for us because of the amount of endless talent. I thought the father in this video was pretty humble and self-reflective. Seems like a caring family and a good father/son relationship. Youth sports are about building confidence and exercise, better than playing video games all day.

I actually think this kid is really mature. So what if he's rich? At least he's making something out of it and working hard. A lot of children that grow up in more comfortable circumstances just slack off all the time. Kid has a bright future if he keeps it up. People always hate on someone they don't even know, plus It's not his fault if he's wealthy. He's just following his dreams.

This kid really is solid for his age. I don’t understand why people constantly beating these kids up. When a kid is given the opportunity to go online, of course they’re nervous because criticism. The 30 year olds who are dogging on him don’t understand how good these kids are. If they weren’t way above average, why would they get picked? I respect all these kids work ethic. Y’all just toxic for the baseball community.

Great job young man!!! Keep up the work in all things you do. You have amazing parents who are doing everything they can to support your growth. I’m a parent and I try my best to do the same thing. Great job dad and mom. Dad, It must be hard to go through these comments and hear so much negativity spoken about your child. But I’m sure your family uses it as motivation and I wish you the best. I have an 8 year old who plays and I’d like to start a channel for him. But I’m apprehensive about it because who needs to hear all this hatred? Stay focused, healthy and happy!!! Peace.
