Since it's already been a month since you posted this I dunno if you'll read it, but I'll say it anyway. 😊I've been subscribed to this channel ever since the ever legendary Let It Go translate. We're close in age too, with me being just 3 years older, so it kinda really isn't an exaggeration to say my young adult self grew up with this channel. My early adult years were plagued by so many painful experiences, I can't even begin to guess how much sleep I've lost to crying and wanting to give up. Your GTS videos really reminded me of the lighter side of life and helped me find that levity I needed to push on through and get to the other side of the swamp. And for that I'm so grateful. I'm sure I'm not the only one as well. I've seen sooooo many people comment on your videos how much they really needed that laugh today cause life was hitting them in the gut right then. Some people need a hug to go on, others just need to laugh about "Satan takes me to the pasta!" for a minute to wipe their tears away. Sadly, I'm gonna be honest and say the style of music you chose to pursue really isn't my niche, and that's okay. I don't expect you to change or whatever. But it also would feel dishonest and gimmicky to me to actively support something I simply don't enjoy. Which means I guess this is goodbye. 😊I really do wish you all the best. as someone who enjoys google translate, i find that "filtering" through differently based languages (latin vs non-latin based languages) is very helpful to make hilarity

I was kinda worried that you'd stopped this completely, and this is a delightful surprise. You had put a smile upon my face during the pandemic era when I was confined at my home with my ailing mom, temporarily off work and living under shutdown. At least you were doing well, as seen from your work - my brother follows you on instagram and Spotify and played me a song of you, without me knowing about you from here. As a part-time translator and a language nerd, I assure you that you don't have to worry about Google Translate doing better. They have been adding a lot of new languages and many of them still are not that well, besides passing it through many languages should make it equally absurd. It did its job in this video after all. People still make videos with that. Tasty has videos where recipes are passed through Google Translate and the final result is cooked. They are hilarious. I think I saw one more recent than a year maybe.

My girlfriend and I were a little late to the party and discovered the channel only in 2020, but "I will take your lunch away from you" and "Gradually watermelon" instantly hit the spot ❤ We've been away from each other for two yeras now, and long distance hits hard, but this channel is among our fondest memories about the time we lived together.. This video was so bittersweet, it really does feel like the end of an era. 11 year old me was obsessed with translator fails, and I have since come out as a lesbian, made some amazing friends and went through a complete style and music change. Back then, it was very regularly updated and every week or two or a month I'd get a notification about a new video and then laugh SO HARD for the next 10-20 minutes... Mentally, it really carried me. I still enjoy your content at MALINDA and I love hearing your voice in some collabs or some tiktok music compilations that sometimes make it to KZfaq - but Google Translate Sings still has a special place in my heart. I'm so glad I never stopped being subbed to this channel. When I happened upon Malinda's content a decade ago, I was constantly searching for Frozen content. As time has passed, I rarely come back here but "gradually watermelon" will always be the most memorable and hilarious phrase ever imo. While I don't listen to much original music, I will always support you, Malinda, even if it's not directly. You helped shape a part of my sense of humor and I'll never forget that.

I've missed google translate like you would not believe!! However, listening to your most recent album, watching your movie, and just seeing how much you have grown, I am so effing happy for you and am glad I got to experience so many laughs on this channel.
