I ordered bassani fish tails without baffles, $700 (slip ons). I’m holding these things checking them out, very simple empty pipe so why are they $700 again? I returned them.

I bought some. Did you have any trouble with them slipping off while engine was running?

If you're having problems with them slipping or moving around get a cheap pipe expander, you can find them for under $20. Expand the pipe just a tiny bit and you should be good to go.

you have huge airspace around fishtail pipes into stock header pipes....maybe a bushing is needed to make fit of both pipes skin tight.....i know i`m right....

Its tight. That's just a heat shield that's making that gap. Those that own a harley knows i'm right..

this is a do it yourself job in the driveway....all due respect this is not a pro job....but it will work....but your valves will burn out over a period of time...increased gas mileage....backfiring and a loss of back pressure....sorry but those are the facts....i`ve been there and done it and learned from my non perfect pipe fittings and my do it yourself mistakes.....

also guys who run pipes with no baffles not good for engine....you might like the sound but engine and performance will suffer....ask an honest well experienced H-D factory trained mechanic/tech.....

Um actually it is better. Lest restriction allows the engine to breath better please don’t be a KZfaq mechanic
