Want to know the difference between a $100 vs $32,000 F1 ticket? Want to know which F1 ticket to buy? The world of Formula 1 offers a vast range of options! We compare tickets at opposite ends of the spectrum: a $100 ticket versus a $32,000 ticket for the same event and the ones in between. Find out which F1 ticket is the best for you.
As we all know, Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsports, and it's no secret that F1 tickets can be expensive. But did you know that there are a lot of different F1 seats and packages available? For example, one of the cheapest F1 tickets available is the general admission ticket for the Monaco Grand Prix, which can cost as little as $100. However, even the cheapest F1 ticket can still provide an incredible experience, especially when combined with the unique atmosphere and views of the Monaco hill tickets.

Double edged sword. There's a good chance we'd have just 7 teams competing right now if F1 didn't become as popular. I doubt Force India, Williams, and Haas would've survived.

The pricing differences of F1 versus other motorsports is astonishing to me. My Indy 500 grandstand ticket is $100, and any fan can gain paddock access to IndyCar for around $50, depending on the circuit. Last year at Belle Isle/Detroit, the paddock was completely open for any fan to access both IndyCar & IMSA, and stand less than a meter from the cars

Yeah but F1's time is now. Nascar tickets in 2005 were probably pretty high for the time because that was peak Nascar. I remember Vancouver Indy tickets in the 90's. They were more than $100 US. That was peak CART. Indycar is slowly building itself back up. One day it will be a hot ticket again.

Thanks Kym! Good video, I can confirm that “general admission” or “campus” passes let you go to a wide variety of spots in Austin and Miami. Most don’t have seats, you have to bring a blanket and/or chair, and don’t include food or drinks. I can also tell you that both general admission and grandstand tickets in Vegas include food and beverage- BUT both are restricted access to a “zone” that you have access to, and a seat (if you buy grandstand). You cannot gain access to another zone. In Austin and Miami a grandstand ticket gets you access to your grandstand AND to any GA or Campus area around the entire track.

I like the fact that F1 is popular and has a huge fan base, but the costs are getting insane day by day. I paid 100 Euros for a General entry on a FRIDAY for the AustrianGP(the cheapest one I could find), the prices of DucthGP tickets are unfathomable. It is increasingly becoming a rich people's sport. It has always been to get into the sport, but I don't think there have been such huge costs for watching the races or following the sport.

Tickets are either sold out ( i presume orange army bought most of them, and left not may of them rest of us f1 fans from this region( p.s i am not from Austria but this is my closest f1 gp track and it on my bucket list)) or too expensive for my taste. The $32,000 garage package feels like the worst experience of the lot. You get all the noise of the track and pit lane without seeing any of the actual racing, except through a TV. Obviously not everyone who goes to a Grand Prix goes for the racing, and I guess having those people in a garage is better than having them take up space in areas that actually have a view of the race, but to me it's just another example of "so extravagant that it defeats the purpose."

If you buy EARLY Birds, you can get lucky & get tickets for fair prices, but that backside to that is that you need to order the tickets 7-9 months in advance, which is imposible for a lot of pepole! Pre COVID, you could easily get good tickets 2-3 months in advance of not later. F1= A “sport” by the rich for the rich. The average working person is priced out. General admission tickets in Canada are only worth it if you don’t have to travel far and you have a way of watching the race online. 🙁

Kym I found the cheapest of all the places @ Monaco US$ 83.00 i remember i was there in 1998 as a tourist very interesting compared to the high end US$ 32000.00 for a paddock access in Bahrain with the Rich & Famous . very well put video as usual.Gowra

Going to the Vegas Grand Prix. Actually paid $425 per ticket. F1 offered an extra discount 1 or 2 weekends after the presale started. Was extremely extremely lucky.

With $2000 I can go away to remote safari locations in five star resorts for 3 weekends and watch the F1 from the ultimate seclusion and luxury. I get to see everything that goes on the track with the commentary.

I’m doing legend this year in Austin! Any tips for being in the paddock for a full day haha. How long do they actually give you?
@Glutenanddairyfreelife
@Glutenanddairyfreelife Жыл бұрын
@@andrewab1209 we had a full day. You get a pass and can go in and out as you please. You are right above the garages and can watch practice, quali and the race and you can look down from the balcony into the paddock at any time. Food and drink were plentiful. We had a parking pass as well and had shuttle service. It’s awesome. I’m sure you’ll enjoy

@@Glutenanddairyfreelife awesome! Thanks for the reply. How was the procedure for going to the podium on Sunday after the race? Did you guys leave your seats early to line up for the podium ceremony?
@Glutenanddairyfreelife
@Glutenanddairyfreelife Жыл бұрын
@@andrewab1209 if you’re paddock day is Sunday you go ‚down‘ to the fence 10 minutes before the race is over. They’ll show you and then walk to the podium. Prepare for a lot of walking during your time there. If you’re paddock day is Friday or Saturday then you can’t go unless you get a pass from somebody who can’t make it or so. Best of luck. It’ll be an amazing weekend

F1 was always for the rich, but with how much money the internet has put in the hands of who otherwise would be normal people, the prices suite the demand. Watching F1 live would forever be an impossible dream for a lot of us who live outside europe.
