Alex, there should be a pair of extension legs at the rear of the caravan that levels it out on the surface when you park up. This prevents it from tipping when you move around inside. Great entertainment.

Lovely to see the amount of fun you guys have had. My partner and I have just bought our first 5 birth caravan and are planning on spending as many holidays away in it next year making memories and exploring England and hopefully, some of France too! £1400 caravan, and the idea of just being able to stop anywhere, and have you're house behind you is awesome!

When I got my first car at the age of 19, I made an impulsive trip to Snowdonia with a college friend of mine. Sunny weather, great roads and a convertible Megane (Which at the time as a first car was fantastic, believe me I learnt a year later how bad they are!). Memories I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

Regularly stay at the house next to Pencarnan caravan park. Beautiful place and fun to sit and watch people struggle with their tents in the campgrounds when the weather is bad.

Back in October 2018 I drove from south East London to central Wales, through the Brecon Beacons, where the roads were covered in sheep and a mad local in a rush nearly wiped them out. Whilst there with family we drove through north Wales and up through Snowdonia and right up to the coast on the West side of Wales. Having been to Spain many times in the past when driving through the Welsh mountains I felt like I'd been teleported to Spain. Honestly some of the best scenery and great roads I've seen. Only downside I noticed was on the way there, the constantly changing speed limits, regularly going from 30-40-50-40-30, then sometimes you'd get an odd 60Mph stretch for maybe half a mile then it's 30 again for the next 15 miles. Quite frustrating.

As a Welshman I agree Scotland is another beautiful place. I end up there at least 4 times a year with work and it always reminds me of North Wales with the scenery. It's the only other place I'd move to.

Strangely, I've got the new Swift Challenger. I have another caravan of this age, same as the challenger, but the axle has broken and only is used as storage - things like awnings, generator, etc in it.

You should try NC500 with a caravan, it's apparently not great or not possible but you can prove us wrong
