i mean it's a traxxas, they're meant to do that. You can get a cheap $200 stock Rustler from Traxxas and do the same thing. If anything breaks u just replace the part

That thousand dollar car was built to take that kind of abuse. ...Although you can get comparable vehicles from other manufacturers for significantly less. I'd take an ARRMA Kraton 8S over a Traxxas X-Maxx any day if I was in the market for a big heavy-duty basher.

I bought one of those cheap toys, the exact one in this video, but I put two RS 550 motors in it,, stronger rc gears, strengthened the chassis, added aluminum bracing, oil shocks, added more foam tread on the tyres and coated then in rubber sealant, and it now rocks, and a proper radio set up. A challenge to stear as it stears like a tank, but my mods make it super fast, super powerful, and unstoppable in any terrain, and with sealed tyres, it can wade rivers etc. I also put a Pontiac body on it. It's super fun now. Will give any big budget a go for it's money in tug of war or any obstacle course.
