2020 Scrambler 1000s vs 2019 sportsman 850 Drag Race.
Hello, today we have a 15k atv vs a 7k atv in a good old drag race on the beach. I am riding the 850 and my friend is on the 1000s, we decided to see who was king of the strip at the local orv park.
Cocky Scrambler 1000s owner gets the beat down from the 850 sportsman in a drag race.

2019 850 sp pulls like a beast. So fun and comfortable. Just gotta upgrade tires. Then ur set.

😂Man his commentary had me rolling. I have a Scrambler S. I certainly did not buy it to drag race all day. But hey if this drag race justified your 850 to save a couple grand and pat your own back power to you 😂. Just let me know how much money you have already poured into that 850 to make it half as capable as the 1000S.

You should look up rvs performance and get their stage 1 tune. The fan kicks on earlier for more cooling and it gives you a bump of an extra 3.5 horsepower to the tire. That’s 83 to the crank

My brother just bought the 2020 sportsman 1000S. And I have a 2017 sportsman 1000xp. Mine smokes it greatly. THE S is heavy 150lbs more than a regular 1000

@@dylanwithdylan but the suspension travel gain, 55 inch width, and 14 Inch of ground clearance makes up for the speed in my opinion

Now u did good those stock 850s sporty are faster than what they are giving credit for I know I got a 16 850 a few years back that was insane on the stock tires it would do 84 mph and in a 1/4 mile I could outrun the outy 1k r he hit 78 limiter but even without that the polaris pulled harder after 50 55 mph thats just the sweet spot on the 850 sporty now dont get me wrong he did have 1 size bigger tires and he jumped 2 bikes till 55 but after that I would just sail by him and pass rite before the 1/4

Had a guy bragging how he beat a 1k scrambler s on his 850 outy I was like dude those things way over 100 lbs more than the stock scrammy its like running with ur gf on the back lol they aint that fast were they shine is over whoops and rough stuff

You can run it in awd 24/7 top speed. Won’t hurt a thing

U will damage it either way no matter if it’s 4Wd or 4x4 u will mess up your drive shaft

@Moe I your can mess up your drive shaft and axles cause their spinning so fast and it’s always on no matter what because it isn’t a car or truck it’s a quad and their meant to always be on I wouldent recommend it and plus you do go faster in 2wd

Polaris AWD only sends power to the front wheels when the rear slip. You can run AWD all the time unless you want to slide it around

that’s Appalachia 100% just watched your ride and review vid. we need to go ride! i have a 14 scrammy 1000 with stage 3 rvs tune, full big gun exhaust, and qsc clutch kit and my step bro has a scrammy 850. we’re heading out there sunday!
