The problem with that is, we are paying social security taxes to pay off the elders. the government is broke! sucked dried!

Established ones are paid thru their own production company and its often incorporated it delaware, montana etc definitely not CA.

They do, self employed also so you can fuck over the system so they don't jack you that much lol

I'm not sure this would work anymore, but when my best friend's dad sold his company (in NY in 1970), he was paid with an insurance policy which, when it paid out a couple of years later, was taxed at a very low rate. There are lots of other things a smart accountant can do if you have enough money. None of those were ever available to me when I lived in CA, but I do know of people doing them. These people all seem to be Democrats.

They set up charity fund. hahaha, just like any other rich folks.

What incentive is there to even make money....this is absurd, the more you make, the more discount you should get.

@@jagd408 taxes are progressive, so you only get taxed higher rates on the money you make past the cut-off point of the lower rate. IE, if you get taxed 0% if you make 20,000, and you get 15% 20,000-40,000, someone who makes 40,000 pays no tax on the first 20G and then 15% on the next 20G.
