I'm Canadian as well and I've never heard "aboot" but I HAVE heard "aboat". Most of the stereotypical "Canadian" accent is that maritimer accent from Down East. The host, Andrew Younghusband (yes, that's his real name...lmao) sounds perfectly normal until he says "kyar" instead of "car". It's funny as hell to watch, not just for him, but the show in general. @@deutschbagnl - You've never watched Canada's Worst Driver or Codco have you? Just search in KZfaq for "Canada's Worst Driver" and listen to Andrew Younghusband speak. Now, not all Newfies sound the same, I know that. The stereotypical Newfie accent comes from the Bay Boys but I am not making it up. I've said plainly where I've seen it so you're not arguing with me, you're arguing with Andrew.

it's a ceremonial thing, imagine chasing a criminal dressed like that? in public school we had a local police officer her dad was an rcmp officer and he voluntarily came to the school on his own accord to teach us about mounties.... i half ass think he was just trying to get recruits but... nonetheless we learned stuff, he was a cool guy. i might be mistaken but he went off the one time about mandatory horse riding training in the rcmp when they only used them for remote areas with no roads, he only ever rode horses during ceremonies and thought it was fucking pointless unless you were in the remote areas of the prairies, mountainous B.C or the territories lol (this is ontario btw, we have roads lol). we asked if we can see his gun and he said "i only ever pull out my gun if i intend to use it"... his daughter, the local police officer said" dad i think mom might be mad if you went to bed with your uniform and gun on, when you take it off at night, i doubt you intend to use it on her" lmfao we still didn't get to see the gun, but some fat old recovering drug addict who does anti-drug seminars can pass a script of 80mg oxy's around too 14 year olds to look at and potentially steal some. id say an unloaded firearm is less of an issue lol.
