In this episode, we put drop rates to the test as we open over 1000 Premium Hero crystals, in the form of a battle between 505 fully formed PHCs vs. 505 sharded PHCs (1,010,000 shards)! Which type of crystal will produce more 4-star champs? The posted drop rate for 4* champs in PHCs is 3%. I should find somewhere around 30 4*s from 1010 PHCs--will I get lucky and find more?
Compare this video to my biggest PHC crystal opening of 2000 crystals ( • 2000 Premium Hero Crys... ), when drop rates were much much lower!

Notes: * It's not obvious in the video, but I opened the fully formed crystals right before the sharded crystals, so there were more champs that I didn't have for those crystals. * The fully formed crystals gave me 106,020 points in Summoner Advancement. The sharded crystals gave me 35,400 points. Though it wasn't my intention, I ended up placing first in the 7-hour Tech Advancement event! * Compare this opening to when I opened 2000 PHCs, when drop rates were much lower: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gdqXf5V029-tm4E.html.
