After being the 'new boy on the block' I wasn't around the last time there was a meet up at Christmas. But I watched from my bricks and mortar home hoping one day I will meet you all. Saturday was the day and boy Molly and I had a fantastic day. Thank you.

"Who is that speaking with the camera" I asked myself before laughing at my butchery of the language. Ever mindful of your eloquent and succinct narration I corrected myself; "who is that speaking off camera"? Your narration and conversation voices are quite different, David. I enjoyed this one. I enjoy them all really, but the videos which combine boating, fellowship and food are especially fun. ;^)

I've been to the boat hire place they do a mean hot chocolate. Clifton cruisers. My mum used to work just round the corner. Love your videos Dave x

Just a quick, 'Thank You', from the daily 06:12 into The City. Wonderful to see this "sensible" (?) barbecue video from yourself, the high priest of canal-dom, of this, now, much recorded gathering. It's fun to see how each different videographer recorded the event in their own unique style. Yours is simply exclusively your own, what else? Pristine and exquisite as I've come to expect. It's hard from my side of the tube, watching through the glass, not to envisage the microcosm of this community of vloggers as quaint and curious creatures from, 'A Galaxy Far Far Away'. It's hard to believe they are all real and not just actors in some elaborate linear, liquid film set. Thank you for sharing this, 'Who's Who" of British Inland Waterfolk with this modest KZfaq viewer. Really enjoy your postings; you have a charm, wit and serenity which makes it all seem even more idyllic...and perhaps even more unreal. There seem to be just too few of your famous red jacket vlogs these days. Many thanks again to you, and many more happy sailings.

Well...how sad...I feel like a little piece of me is missing now.. :( I found your channel last night and have watched ALL your videos back to back with only a small break in between for some much needed sleep...the problem is...now that I've finished I don't know what to watch next?...hopefully you will be making some new videos soon, I have no idea how often you upload new films as I have never had to sit and wonder when your next one is coming out...anyway David (I feel like I know you personally now) thank you very much for a very informative 18hrs I have learned loads...you are actually living my dream...I have wanted to do what you do for the last 30yrs ever since I left the Royal Navy, but alas it was not to be...so I find myself living my dream through you and your videos...so please keep making them and I look fwd to the next one...all the best, Dave B...PS don't forget the suggestions I gave you (wanted or not) about the remote control for the locks and the camera on the forecastle with the LED screen you can view from your driving position...I just bought a Samsung gear 360 camera..that would be ideal for you because with Bluetooth you can see what the camera sees from your phone and would get a 360 or 180 degree view of whats coming around those blind bends...and the remote control to steer and guide your boat into the locks for you from the bank... :)

David, Thant you for your excellent vlogs, I'm really enjoying them from down under here in Oz. I think that I've managed to view all of them, but I've only ever seen the "No. 1" on the side and not your boat's name. Nor have I heard you say it; Is this for security reasons? We had a narrowboat holiday a few years back with Viking Cruises from Gailey to Audlem and back. Fantastic! Perhaps you would consider doing an episode on hire boats? Also an article on the clever names of many of the crafts would, I think, be interesting. Keep up the good work; I love your sense of humour.
