Yeah they completely lied about the story SPOILERS She betrays the empire in less than 3 hours in There’s only one mission in the force awakens era and it doesn’t have Iden in it (but the story expansion that comes out in two weeks will have her in that era)

SPOILERS: ... Iden becomes a Rebel by the midway point of the game. So much for the Empire being painted as the "Good guys" angle. It's like the third or forth mission where she finds out how evil the Empire is and just goes "Welp, I'm gonna go to the Rebels now!" Oh and most of the footage seen in trailers is nowhere to be seen, except for the explosion of the Dstar. But even that is just a small snippet of them discussing something, the ship blowing up and there's no cutscene mention of "Wasn't expecting Special Forces" meme, it's just said in passing during one of the encounters you have. There's no Iden preaching in front of a bunch of troopers, in fact she changes her mind about the Empire rather quick as I've said. It's almost as if they had a grand plan for the story mode, then gave up halfway through. Oh and Starkiller Base is saved for a Story Mode DLC on the 13th of DEC, so they didn't even finish the story they changed.

I miss the old BF2 Wish BF2 2017 ome had 2 story mods, one from the clone wars how the 5o1s journal like the old one, and this.

A handful of these facts need to be either removed or updated due to what happened recently.

0:54 Yeah... for like the first hour... Literally, I think its the 3rd mission in, and she defects. Should be sued for false advertising. Literally *everything* pointed towards an Imperial heavy campaign, with heavy loyalty to the Empire. Of course, the way she defects is the most rushed, unfinished reason ever.. They attack the Imperial Loyal planet Vardos, her home planet. Why you ask? "To spread fear, so the galaxy knows the Empire is still on control" or something extremely similar to that. Makes no sense. I understand Naboo, and earlier why they blew up Aldeeran, but there was absolutely *NO* F'ing reason to attack Vardos. That's like saying "Oh, we, the United States, are going to bomb New York City to scare the rest of the world to show we are in control of our property and whatnot" Makes no sense what soever. And don't come to me saying "Oh, the Russians did that to stop Napoleon, and later on the Nazis" Because that in and of itself is an entirely different situation. They did it to stop their massive military advance, and the people were in on it. Scorched earth policy. The Empire had no such intentions. Some parts were okay, like the parts were it introduced *key* canon points, but that was it. Everything else was yes, indeed Garbage. This is coming from a guy who still loves Star Wars and Gaming heavily, and what's nothing else for the franchise to do well. I was mister nice guy for the last game (which we do not ever speak of) but this time, I am sure that EA needs its rights stripped. Give it to someone who cares, Like Pandemic did. Please explain why they had servers had numbers twice the size of the modern EA ones? Bots, yes, were part of that, and even the new Criterion flying modes are golden (with a few ify stuff) which also includes bots. No reason why Kashyyk had 20v20... especially Kamino, where trillions of troops were born (but that, I understand, is to balance for the droids to have a fair fight) Though, just watch the Clone Wars series, and the numbers in that battle were very well balanced. "imperials as the good guys" We can only wish for a game with a true imperial point of view. Instead, we get a traditional "imperial defects to the rebellion" story. Honestly, that's my second biggest complaint with my game, second only to the micro transactions and in-game credit system. This game also needed a conquest mode with large battles and cp points. The unfortunate moral of the story: you can't trust any EA game or new battlefront game. (Or any star wars game for that matter, since EA holds all the cards.)

Game director doesn’t know how to actually write a story about “retaliation” if the main character just leaves the empire and then a couple weeks later, joins the rebellion. This game sucks ass. They need to rewatch those movies again.

I didn't buy this game because I tried the Beta and found it to be a very basic arcade shooter. The predatory loot box system that Ray wanted to implementing this game is the reason I would never buy another EA Game. This video plays like a paid advertisement and it is not an impartial critique.
