Hollywood co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have successfully promoted their Welsh football club Wrexham AFC to League Two of the English Premier League after a 15-year absence. Wrexham AFC managed to win the National League after they beat Boreham Wood 3 - 1.

The National League is the lowest of the five nationwide PROFESSIONAL football divisions.

The English league consists of around 11 tiers and I think can go back further and they were in tier no 5 not last tier.

I love the owners and everything they have done for Wrexham as a team and city...but calling it a fairytale is a bit much. They spent 3 million on a league where some players have a second job to ends meet! It's not exactly Leicester winning the Prem with a team of relegation strugglers at 5000 to 1 odds is it😅

I think they will win again next season. They have the money and momentum to attract great players. The sponsorship they will attract will be premiership level. With the TV show and social media presence etc. They need to invest now though as if they do badly next season the show might get cancelled and it could grind to a halt. They will probably not want to put up tickets too much as that could be negative publicity. But they are selling out home games super fast. The money will be pouring in.
