It's nice to get educated on how things run on the farm. Cows are curious they look around, and they're checking you out, their thinking what the heck are you doing. But they know when time for milking.

I was thinking how wonderful it would be to have this guy's dad to work the city kids. No sitting around or rioting....just long hard work. Tired kids are good kids! Wouldn't that be great?

I Googled why you can't put manure on Alfalfa. I'll tell you, I had no idea the issues it could cause for your crop. No matter how it's spread, either liquid or dry. Thank you for explaining everything you're doing, it allows me to learn more. I've been watching your videos for almost eight months now and I just want to say thank you for all the great content.

As a youth in the summer 1960's (south-central Ky.), Grandpa hand milked a small herd of between 15 to 20 (also raised Angus cattle, sizable herd, owned several myself). Ah yes, cleaning out the milk stalls and other areas, which gave me good practice cause 30+ years later I would volunteer work for our Zoo, shoveling Elephant, Rhino and all kinds of hoof stock poop (often this was considered a "Punishment Job" for those court sentenced to community service), I however was well adapted and highly enjoyed the task.

It's good to hear and be inside the tractor. It's been over 20 years since I was inside one and it also had that same squeaking chair. Lol it would be great if we could fast forward our day to get stuff done. I miss living on a farm so much. But it was a great way to end my day by sitting on the couch watching your video after the day in Spokane, Washington in traffic all day. The cows look happy. Good job to you and your dad..

Definitely can't recommend enough is getting a leaf blower. Dust off what ever you want, skidsteers, tractors, manure spreaders etc. dust off daily and keep your machines cleaner. Help with tidying up your day to save time on major clean days. If you want to the biggest baddest machine -Echo PB 770T If you want plug and play and not to worry about it and grab when you want -EGO hand held power blower. Used in up here in Canada year round not a single problem with either, used commercially, not home owner grade.

Thanks! Hey Eric, I wanted to tell you every time I wear my 10th Gen t-shirt to the grocery store, somebody thanks me for my farming service, or asks, "Do you know so and so, my farmer friend?" LOL!! 😂 I have to tell them, "No, I'm just a farmer fan", explaining who you are. Maybe I should go stand in from the milk case. I'm sure it would boost their milk sales for the day!! 😁🥛🥛🥛😁 Looks like we have more cold and more snow heading our way in the Eastern states. Looks like you're ready.

If you put some straw underneath the tractor it will be easier to start in the mornings because the cold from the ground wouldnt go up into the engine this way. You should also put a old duvet or some sort of blanket over the hood because it keeps the heat in the engine therefor making it easier to start
