Apparently one thing that many people don’t know is that the job description of a farmer is you do it ALL. All of the time. That fan may have “only” weighed a 100 pounds but it was not exactly in the most comfortable shape nor position to hold on to. Great video Eric, thanks for taking us along.

The rough framing on construction always goes fast, but people experienced with construction knows there is still a long way to go. Detail work where it doesn't look like much is changing takes awhile. Granted, this is a cow barn and not a house, but the same rule does still apply.

I enjoy your videos, Eric!. I spent my summer months, when in grade school and high school, on my grandparents farm in NE Iowa back in the 60's. They milked 14 cows. Things sure changed in the milking process! A person would need GPS to get around your barns!! :) You sure treat and make your cows comfortable! Great job!

Really interesting to watch the building process and the differences in code/requirements. I take it you don't have the same frost depth that the midwest has, as that water line trench would not be deep enough to prevent freezing! Really enjoying watching this project come together and anxious to see how it changes your day-to-day activities!
