you'd think meritocracy would be good because it would effectively double: research, alloys, consumer goods, unity, amenities from entertainers, and strategic resources.

I think a great idea for planets would be something like the ship designer. You make a few planet schematics lets say, a agri, science, alloy and unity and then you look at a planet click the planet schematic button, select the planet schematic you want and the planet will self manage to automatically build all the buildings you have selected when it can. Itd cut down on having to fix up each and every single planet if you have over a hundred

Ascetic devouring swarm would probably be really op in this mod. No amenities usage along with +50 habitability along with unkillable ships.

That was exciting :D But I did suffer a little bit of a cognitive dissonance: I didn't know who to root for. I wanted the galaxy blown up, but I also wanted the AI to punish you for underestimating it XD

I took technocracy and meritocracy, both give insane bonus for science. +10 research alternatives, essentially giving you truely the choice about what you want to research next instead of leaving it to chance. Leader cap +10 so your leaders can reach max level from start (ok this one is meh kinda useless but it's because it comes with my next point). +100% specialist outputs. This gives you twice the science you normally would get, and with intelligent, natural engineers, fanatic materialists I expect my end game to be after the first century. Also this means you get twice the consumer goods so less consumer good jobs for more scientists. Edit: so there is a bug right now that makes it that the +100% specialist output stop applying if you turn your species into cyborg, or if you update their genetics, it also doesn't apply to robots.

YES THE 10x MODS ARE IN STELLARIS You find these mods on many other PDX games great to see them reach here as well

How about a determined exterminator run? With Rapid Replicator you'd get strong really fast. Plus, energy should be easier.

Personally I'd recommend trying again with Determined Exterminators, because nothing says 'Kill Them All' like +250% Weapons Damage, and unlike Purifiers, Exterminators CAN make pacts with other Machine Intelligence. Also 200% Pop Assembly from Rapid Replicator would be ridiculous... or +200% Engineering Research from Introspective might help you glean a few more ship technologies to put you on par with a Fallen Empire faster.

Reading the comments, I think we should organize a multiplayer session to find who gets the most ridiculously OP build.

If you go determined exterminator, you can power your ship by chemically processing your victims. That would be fun to try

Lmao, this mod is so op. environmentalist is now awesome, same with mining guilds, and police state, plus slave guilds and rapid replicator. Those are just a few which are now very op lmao

If you try the overpowered civics mod, it could be just galaxy conquest, unless you make the enemies more powerful as well

why not just *not care* about energy defiecencys? the debuffs max out eventually but you can just keep on pumping out ships, so what does it matter they have a firepower debuff?
