With the help of this video and a friend I was able to assemble my tent and fill six sandbags in two and a half hours. I had no trouble assembling it. Thank you to the maker of this video for your help.

I found that by putting the ratchets loosely on the end straps you will never loose them up the plastic

I have essentially the same thing bought from Harbor Freight here in the USA. It's a cover pro brand but I'm guessing it rolled off the same assembly line as it seems identical. This helped me a lot because I was having trouble figuring out the poorly written instructions. Thanks alot!

Hint, for the straps you should have hooked up the ratchets before you tried to install the end panels.

Thanks for the video and advice on building this shed alone “Don’t even attempt it” and you’re right. It’s like a sail if you don’t have someone helping you hold it down. I was able to complete the install in under 90 min because of your detailed video guidance. I made one mistake. I installed the bottom support rails (like the instructions state) but realized I needed to insert them into the cover to hold them in place. Thanks.

I would have used the auger anchors.. ya just stick a pole through the eye and rotate clockwise.. 👍

i had the same shed , but mine was a 10 by 17 from harbor freight . in 2 years your roof is going to split apart and you will have to cover the frame with a tent that you will continually have to buy if you want to use it. but for a quick fix if you cant order a carport or a real shed due to finances at the time this is a quick fix. 140 bucks for 2 years and 2 hours worth of work still not bad . but in the long run your throwing away money because they dont make replacement canvass for it .

I think there great and they seem to hold up as long as you keep the snow off them ..I bought another one now and put them end to end makes for a big shop

Use Duct tape to secure black strap ties that need to be ratcheted down... Before U put anything together ... DUCT TAPE PEOPLE... center top ... side rails... In general, just to hold things together before U get ur next beer... DUCK TAPE IS THE KEY... holding & securing everything together.... Pull it off , put it back on... Make it work 4 U ... DUCT TAPE... IMPROVISE !

Put this shed up today. There was three of us and it took us 4 hours. So pat yourself on the back. Where did you get those support poles that you said you added at the end of your video. Did those come with the original shed you bought? I have to figure out how to secure it as where I put it there is no way I can use what they gave. Angle iron a good idea. Thanks for the video.

Those poles came with it and I went and bought some ratchet straps and put them over the top it was windy at that place I now have moved and bought a second one and put them end to end makes a good size shop for cheap.... thanks for the comment

Just bought one of these sheds Are you still having good luck with it? A few questions how far down did you hammer down the angle iron and how did you anchor it to the poles? Also how much snow can it tolerate? Thanks gray video Dennis K

LOl, same thing happened to me, the straps pulled completely out. It's actually your/our fault, the instructions say to tie it off at the bottom before proceeding with attaching at the top so as to avoid the straps coming out.
@dtrrtd7746 жыл бұрын
Michael S Yeah, I was just waiting for that to happen when I saw the straps were unsecured. It was off camera though. I simply used the provided ratchets and secured the ends with that before starting to put the end covers on. No way it's going to pull through with the ratchets attached.

I would suggest using a rope and tensioning the slip fit poles from the opposite ends so they don't slip out when tweaking the leg positions. I had to do a 10x17 HF one solo, luckily it was not windy so that was not an issue. The 25 deg F weather was though. I was using tape to secure the slip fit connections but the adhesive didn't stick too well in the sun freezing temperature.
