I went to E-Star for lunch in Houston TX off 290 and Jones Rd. I was shocked to see SASHIMI during lunch hours considering it was only $11.99/person! Follow along in the video and see what else they had to offer.

Nice video❤ I live in Houston and mostly all the China star buffets looks like this. I noticed since the pandemic, they took a lot of foods off the menu. You didn't show egg rolls, oysters,clams, mussels,salt & pepper crab, crawfish or crab legs,fried rangoons,orange chicken, not even soups or ice cream...

Thank you for watching :) and I also feel like the quality everywhere keeps going down too. It was during lunch so maybe their options were more limited. It was one of the smaller buffets in the Houston area

Ooh really? To be honest, it was one of the smaller buffets in Houston. I didn't realize it until I walked in. Is $24.95 the price for lunch or dinner in OR?

On the bean thing.... Green beans and string beans are the same thing, but the term "string" is mostly kinda outdated. The name "string" comes from the fibrous/ tough string that runs the length of the pod, which have to be removed before eating. Also sounds like you get hunger headaches.

Wow 😊 you making me want to move to Houston, just the fried chicken and fries would be about $15 here in Hawaii, there is no other place you can get delicious food for that cheap of price, you making the basic food look 👀 delicious 🤤

Haha! The best is when it's all you can eat! Omg I can't believe how expensive it is in Hawaii. I've heard it's expensive but I didn't know it was THAT expensive, Lord have mercy lol. You just might need to move to Houston with those prices lol

Hey Hong! Although this is not a buffet, this place that I am recommending has lunch special, Monday thru Friday (buy 3 dishes, get one free). The name of restaurant is Hai Cang Harbor Seafood Restaurant, 11768 Bellaire Blvd, Houstonm TX 77072. I recently went and was impressed on how good the dishes were. I hope you will try it with your husband.

@@HongtheFoodie OK,, I think you can decide, but the dishes that I ordered were flat rice noodle with beef and chinese brocoli, bitter melon with chicken, walnut shrimp and peking style pork chop. All Hoisan/cantonese style dishes. Nothing too spicy! I think they are all good and it would depend on what you are in the mood for. They have been around for a while, but recently remodeled and it is a much nicer place.

I thought it was shaggy dog roll at first but then I didn't see any shrimp tempura inside. Inside has cucumber and something else I couldn't make of it, then on top it had imitation crab 🙂

Omgosh I've always wanted to go to Vegas, not for the casinos but for the buffets LOL. You live in paradise haha. The buffet was okay to be honest. But for the price point, not bad at all especially for all you can eat. We need some buffets in Houston like they have in Vegas, I would be in trouble though cause I'd wanna eat at a buffet all the time lol

First off, you are not getting your money’s worth if you eat like you do. Pardon me but i believe this content was mostly done for views only! Your plating makes it more unbearable. I’m a foodie too but we are talking about buffet here! I would love to see you arrange your platings next time so you don’t get confused. This is just a friendly advice. Thanks. Good job though!

Gross! The Vietnamese buffet was better. This is mid. Looks gross if I’m being honest. But for the price it makes sense.

Yeahh, for the price point it's not horrible. Not the worst but not the best either. I didn't realize it was one of the smaller buffets in the area. They didn't even have crawfish :( but for $12 I can't complain too much lol
