I was happy to get in my first farmers market of the season this week and we had lots of flowers to bring. I always tend to get a little nervous with the first one, and it felt like the rest of the week I spent mainly picking and storing peonies. Peonies are early this year and it made for a busy week having to harvest so much and then also make it to the first farmers market. With so much time spent in the peony patch I did not get much weeding or planting accomplished. But I finally did get all the trays out of the basement and I'm happy to report that I was able to get the fungus gnat problem under control. It was also nice to get some rain this week too. The storm rolled over my flower farm with some pretty cool cloud movement.
Well that's a wrap on another week of work. Thanks for joining me again!
