How to replace a LCD Screen Assembly on a 11" MacBook Air A1370 and A1465.
This is a step by step video that will show you how to replace the part from start to finish.
This guide is valid for the following models:
11” MacBook Air Late 2010 A1370 EMC 2393
11” MacBook Air Mid 2011 A1370 EMC 2471
11” MacBook Air Mid 2012 A1465 EMC 2558
11” MacBook Air Mid 2013 A1465 EMC 2631
11” MacBook Air Early 2014 A1465 EMC 2631
11” MacBook Air Early 2015 A1465 EMC 2924
*Please note that on 2013, 2014 and 2016 A1465 models, the iSight Camera cable is has been moved next to the fan connection and the fan has been moved from underneath the SSD, besides those changes everything is exactly the same.

My screen has lines across the screen then it freezes. Could this be the cable? Screen? Or grafics card?

I just changed out my lcd screen for a new one but I only see black. I did damage the diffuser later with the heat gun but would that cause it to be completely black? I know both the ribbon connection and other connector are correct.

no, the wifi and bluetooth connector wires will not reach their needed conntors

Will an a1465 fit on a model that came with an a1370?

It will fit as it has the same LVDS connector, the Wi-Fi cables are a bit longer, and the webcam connector is different on an A1465, so your webcam will not work! The connector is a lot bigger, and plugs straight into the logic board, as with A1370, it's a lot smaller and connects in to the small I/O board!!
