I think Cena duct taping Batista's legs around the pole is a good finish to a last man standing match. Sure, it's silly, but wrestling should sometimes be silly, and this finish makes use of the unique win condition of the stipulation, so I like it.

Honorable mention to John Cena vs Shawn Michaels. Their Wrestlemania 23 match was fine. But, the next match they had was a 69 minute classic, that I rabk as one of the best matches to ever occur on televised wrestling. The only reason it can't make a list like this is because it happened on the Monday Night Raw 6 days before before Backlash. If Tempest hadn't specified that it must take place at "the very next pay-per-view, I would have placed Michaels/Cena at Number 1 for this list.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio and CM Punk vs. Randy Orton were fun feuds to watch back in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

If the rematches stipulation included PPVs from further on in the same year, the Hell in a Cell match for Batista v HHH would 100% be on here. That cell match is ludicrous from start to finish, and I still love the ending shot where they toyed with the idea that Trips would bail out with the sledgehammer only to not pull the trigger fast enough. Solid list all round, and keep up the amazing work ^^

Honorable mention: undertaker vs Batista in 2007. Their last man standing match was a BANGER

Finally, someone who acknowledges that Punk/Orton & Rey/Cody were good matches at Mania 27. Im not trying to say that Mania 27 is some hidden gem, but it does annoy me when people say that the show has nothing good on it (I’d argue it has more good on it than Mania 32.)

Honourable mention goes to Triple H Vs the Rock at Backlash 2000, not included in this list for obvious reasons... But that should have been the main event of Mania.

Fun fact: I attended wrestlemania 28 and as i was making my way through the arena my friends and i could hear Sheamus' music hit for his entrance and before we even made it out of the tunnel to go to our seats his music hit again and we had to confusingly ask what happened and had the match explained to us 😂😂

Sheamus/Bryan gives me so many feelings. First, I was very looking forward to their match at WM27 and I watched, waiting for their match, and then Cena/Miz started, had no clue it happened on the preshow... Then WM28......ooff....but their Extreme Rules 2 out of 3 falls match was everything that their match not at WM27 should had been. Highlighted both up and comers strengths perfectly, both guys stock rose due to this match. Why I'm so torn by Vince, because he's proven time and time again that he was good at his job....when he cared.

Punk vs Orton feud in 2011 was awesome I didn’t like the booking but I appreciated the talent of both competitors

No Ronda rousey fan here at all, I pride myself on being unbias, Ronda vs Charlotte WM 38 was pretty solid the problem is the crowd hated both of them. To call the Backlash match quite decent is an understatemate the crowd started out the same way, but it was so good by the end crowd started cheering Ronda.
