Best tip I can give? Wear safety shoes or safety boots! One stray nail up through your sneaker and you'll be limping back to your car...

Abu Sayeba most images in interiors of mine are f/8. Iso as low as possible with the shutter speed chosen depending on the scene. ;)

Nothing I didn't know and you should have brought a hard hat/helmet, that would have been a top priority in abandoned buildings! But stunning locations and images made this a top video.

Pretty sure you could. There was a prime opportunity to talk about HDR when talking about looking for soft light sources, rays, and so on. Almost every, if not absolutely every image was a combination of exposures due to the extreme light/dark in these places, so it's almost dishonest not to mention it IMHO. Don't get me wrong, great results, but you won't achieve them with a single exposure.

James Charlick Hey James, actually nearly 50% of these were single images. Raw is powerful. But you are right I have also taught myself luminosity masking, which can be seen in some results. However, COOPH tends to aim at newer photographers as well as more experienced guys and girls so it was decided to leave it out by the team at COOPH. However, maybe it leaves room for a follow up? Who knows. Thanks

If you want to do this in the US of A, you'd better be carrying a firearm and be wearing boots with needle proof soles. And, if you don't find the owner, and get their permission to be there, a bulletproof vest.

Tip: wear dark clothes and be quiet, remember that this sort of photography is illegal because you go on someone property. And don't break stuff or vandalism it with graffiti tags
