Yeah I don’t believe this one to be true. One, if it’s true then why are you telling this story on a social platform? Who wants to relive something like this over and over again. Two, if your buddy is that afraid of a bear attack than why go in the first place? Three, you’re 5 to 10 minutes away from the camp and you can hear moans? From that far away? And no screams at all? None? It doesn’t seem likely.

@@beth5633 Maybe it really happened, maybe it didn't. Wild animals are unpredictable and are not exempt from exhibiting strange or violent behaviour from time to time.

@@NJTransit1985 Who knows? Maybe it's a real story, maybe it's not. Have you been on social media lately? It's not far fetched to share a close to death/traumatic experience with people on social media these days. Just because someone is fearful of something, doesn't mean they're going to let that fear stop them from living their life. Maybe that person just really wanted to step outside their comfort zone. But I agree with you on the screaming part. If you're being ripped apart by a bear, you're probably going to be screaming bloody murder.

As an animal nerd, I'm calling BS on it. Brown bears are terrifying apex predators. Black bears... not so much. While a black bear will usually beat a human in a fight to the death, they are not prepared to do that. I truly cannot overstate what cowards black bears are. I've seen them run in terror from housecats. They are absolutely not willing to fight and if you fight back, they will run. The only real exception is a mother defending her cubs. If that was the case, the "family" was just one adult and a bunch of nearly harmless babies. "There's nothing you could've done" would not be true. 3 adult humans could absolutely take a black bear, especially a female. Hell, 2 have a good shot. Again, brown bears are the walking murder gods. Black bears are basically oversized raccoons. They're scavengers. And I definitely don't see them being able to bisect someone. And if the family WAS multiple adults, they would've run if you fought back. But that's kind of a moot because black bears (and brown bears for that matter) don't hunt in packs. They're solitary animals. So, yeah. Didn't happen. But it's 4chan, there's literally a thing there saying only a fool would believe their stories.

@@Veladus I agree. So a guy terrified of bear attacks decided to go camping where a bear attack is possible? I seriously doubt it. Also, neither of them screamed? He said it was more than one bear. So were they like ninja bear? Silent and deadly killers because neither of them screamed. Did the bear covers their mouths so they couldn’t scream? Just a few moans that he supposedly could hear 10 minutes away from camp. None of it sounds realistic. And to top it off you’re going onto social media to tell the world how the woman you loved was attacked and mutilated? The biggest issue is the fact that this story is nowhere in any news outlet. That’s not going to happen either.

I'm not saying the story is true, but black bears have been known to kill humans. In fact, 25 of them in the past 20 years. Animals, domesticated or wild can be unpredictable.

A family of black bears I could see taking down people. Nothing more violent than a mama bear-not the Facebook “mama bear” idiots-in most woods. If a cub wandered over and they didn’t get away fast enough…

Interesting, I was also wondering how far the stream of water actually was. Cause sound travels far in a forest and if they got attacked by bears, they would’ve screamed their lungs out and he should’ve heard something? I dunno.. a bit weird

@@StephLoor he was also close enough to hear the moans but by the time he got there he didn’t run into any bears and Tony was just gone dragged away somewhere silently? Lol must have been some black ops bears. There’s no way they were both attacked separately and the same time, if Sarah was being attacked surely Tony would have been yelling/something or vice versa she would have been screaming which the dude would have heard and knew something was happening

But why would he tell the story on 4chan if he was the killer? Nobody's forcing him to share it. Unless you think it's a made up story, but I feel like he would have made it a lot creepier if it was.

I found the wording really strange as well!!! I kind of half expected him to say something like “in retrospect I would have preferred to find Tony & Sarah having sex over how I actually found them”… but instead he said the thought of them hooking up still disgusts him to this day. Why would he even think about that to this day if he knows they DID not hook up & instead were brutally attacked & killed?! That’s your girlfriend & your good friend who are now dead… why continue to disgust yourself by imagining them fuckin when they didn’t?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I agree something seems off. I understand the concept of survivors guilt, but it still seems bizarre that he would completely abandon his entire family, all of his friends & his life as he knew it. 🤔

Kinda get the feeling maybe they weren’t even dating And he was just obsessed with her or something? 4 months of dating and it was the love of his life but didn’t discuss going to the same school? Or definitely decide on it by then we’ll after graduation when most people have the school lined up before graduating. And he cared more about the 3 way friendship instead of 1 on 1 time in the honeymoon faze of a relationship lol He was probably the third wheel the whole time

@@skeletor1422 Oh oh I think you might be right that it's one of those types of movie, if not that one. There was one where the girl was a witch, and she committed suicide specifically to come back from the dead. There's also another movie whose name I can't remember for the life of me, it was an anthology movie but all the stories were like, investigations to prove that there was a parallels world to ours with demons in it. Or hmm, maybe one of the VHS movies?
