A special mini-episode treat - the wit and wisdom of Nigel Farage (is this right? Ed), as channelled by the Eye’s Craig Brown and Lewis Macleod. Find out what Nigel REALLY thinks about good old-fashioned British maths.

My 99 year old grandfather has never talked about politics since the end of WW2, never said a word about it all these years, then he saw Farage on tv last night and for the first time ever he blurted out that he liked Farage and he can fully get behind a man like Farage and his reform party, and he was so impressed by both that he asked me to go up into his loft and dig out his old SS uniform to wear on voting day.

This is a great parody. It captures the awful, dangerous thing about NF: He speaks well, he sounds plausible, he makes the utter nonsense sound like a coherent argument. If you’re not very bright, and already have your mind made up you don’t listen to the actual words but just hear supportive noises. This is how these people operate.

@tomconneely1361Ай бұрын
I think you'll find it's the British analogue page 94. But in the digital edition, it will be 95 or maybe 96. In some of the more radical, .pdf, formats it might even be higher once they add-on a front cover, inside front cover, contents, copyright notices and all that other guff. Don't even get me started on all those pages left intentionally blank. They can't even manage that without a split infinitive! I ask you, what is the country coming to?
