😅😂🤣 Love the shirt. I can just picture me wearing one. I do love your painting. I'm almost 70 now and started painting. I don't have the patience for oils. I follow along your videos an find myself reverse engineering things for watercolor. Works like a charm and I appreciate when you point out things in perspective and shadow because you explain the "why" of it, which sometimes escapes me until I hear you explain it and in hindsight it seems rather obvious, but most people miss the obvious in details.

Your painting teaches lots of techniques but the best thing is it gives immense satisfaction and calmness to my mind as i undergone a huge financial breakdown and these videos gives huge motivation . You are an angel

Learning to be more patient patience is for this guy is beyond my laziness...love free hand charcoal or lead in different no color value lol btw digital doodling too which I tackled without any resourcing.my kid is a 3 d artist as a hobby since his 12 th grade but algorithm wise,did apps too,he is pursuing programs.my eldest did 2d hobby and now a graphic designer major in computing.he took live portrait painting when I told him so.btw this eldest of mine did 3D sculpture of Shamu the whale using blk and wt legoes,when he was in pre-Kindergarten in CA 1989 he is 33 now...I love your dedication!

I doubt you read your comments any more… to bad I always learn from your feed back... However, its so great to see you back here on the tube I've really missed your prowess, and excellence. Hope you go back to your almost daily production… you probably don't realize your impact on new and experienced painters and how you inspire a really large community. I like the hoodie, and that sign is probably true. Lol... I enjoyed again, albeit, that lesson is too much for me, over my head. I just can't do that, but, due to your lessons I somehow finding my own style. That telling something about you, not as an artist, then as a teacher. You are just... fantastic.

After years of attempting to paint, your instruction and inspiration enabled me to achieve a level of realism I always dreamed of. I recently sold my first painting as a result of watching you. I am a subscriber to your art school and was very upset after hearing your explanation of what happened. Michael, thank you for this lesson. I paint river scenes and often have trouble depicting the shallow stones on bottom. Your video lesson clarified how its done to make it look realistic and believable. Your technique for showing flowing water over shallow rocks is superb. Thanks again!

Wow man. Your technics achieve such realism that it looks like you could step right into the water. I haven't seen anyone who sees the colors with such detail and then know what brush to use to put it on the canvas. Thanks for sharing how you do it.

Well done dear, I regularly watch your videos as I have a hobby of painting and I picked so many useful tips to add in my landscapes..... But the way you do the things with small brush so minutely is just a matter of appreciation and a lots of patience..... loved the ripple effect with the gel liquid... and the highlights that made the rocks on the dry areas come to life. I wasn't sure how you made the grass look so realistic, so it would be great to have you do a short clip of how you did that. Thanks for the tutorial.
