Andrea Baldini is an Italian foil fencer who won Olympic games, European and World Championships. During his career he managed to make 33 individual podium appearances (10 wins, 8 second places and 15 third places) in World Cup events. He has achieved a great success in national competitions, in the World Cup, European and World Championships up to the conquest of the team gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. At the Olympic Game in London, Andrea lost in the tense bout for the bronze medal (15-14) in favor of the Korean fencer Choi Byung-chul. However, he came back with his teammates Valerio Aspromonte, Andrea Cassarà, and Giorgio Avola defeats Japan in the final, with a score of 45-39, granting Andrea Baldini the honor and the burden of latest assault, in this case settled against Yuki Ota. He takes part in his second career Olympics in Rio in 2016, winning the 4th place for the team. Andrea Baldini is incredible fencer, who proved everyone that he is one of the best fencers.
