Mark, big thanks for this film. Thanks to it I have totally change my holiday plans. I was planning North of Italy but at the same time when watching your great film we (me, my wife and one and a half year doughter) ;) decided to go to Balkan region. Aw man dude. Awesome video! I did a very similar trip in 2019. We rented a car in Dubrovnik, did the old town there, went to Mostar, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Prizren Kosovo, Ohrid, Himare and beaches in Albania, Budba, Kotor, and back to Dubrovnik. It was incredible. One of the coolest beaches in Albania was down a cliff, and we had to hike a mountain and lower yourself the last 20 meters on a rope.

Eastern Europe is a geographical region, has nothing to do with culture. Greece is in the Eastern European time zone and is in the easternmost part of Europe. What would you say Greece is then? Northern Europe? If everything that borders Greece is Eastern Europe, then Greece itself has to be in Eastern Europe.

A pretty cool but mainstream trip for a quick tour. You can't even imagine how much you are missing out. I spent 50 days in Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro and didn't even visit half of the things I planned. People travel to Asia, Caribbean, etc etc. People, especially Western Europeans, doesn't understand how much they are missing out. Only Bosnia & Herzegovina is overwhelming, we found exactly everything, and I'm returning soon for a month.

wtf I would never refer to Balkans as Eastern Europe. Balkan countries are Balkan. End of discussion. "Eastern Europe" is something totally different. You just take everything which is east from Germany and call it Eastern...god damn why am I even trying...

@@jlkanne8330 I mean it in a sense that there is a big difference between southeastern and eastern Europe just like it is between northern and southern etc. There is nothing wrong with eastern Europe but it is factually wrong to say that the Balkans are the same thing as Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, etc. because they are not. There are huge historical and geographical differences.

Im from Skopje Macedonia.I was in Ohrid maybe three or four times and every time i go i think that i will be bored but,no every time Ohrid has something new.The city is to beatifull and you will never get bored at Ohrid.Greetings from Macedonia Mark beaituful video for my country, and next time if you visiting Ohrid go to ST NAUM,that.s maybe a hour trip from the centar of OHRID to St.Naum.
