Allan Sherman really had a good voice. I've never seen this one done live before, but it's always been one of my favorites. Thanks for posting!

It's posted by his channel so of course they'd have this version and I'm not sure if any other uploaders would have this version or not 🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️🤨 but I Seriously kind of doubt it they'd have this version..!!??

This version of the 12 days of Christmas makes me laugh so much! Especially a Calendar Book with the name of my Insurance Man’s on it & a Pink Satin Pillow that says San Diego with Fringe all around it.

Allen sherman past away 3 years before I was born. And I find I miss him...interesting. one of my girls thinks he is hilarious and gets her friends watch and listen to him . I think Mr. Sherman would like that.

It still does. Alan Sherrman had the gift of making these hilarious monologues sound effortless. A genius of a man.

Every version I have of this, the word "naked" is removed... "statue of a blady with a clock...". Except an original 45 RPM single, unedited. And he sang it live on TV. I wonder why that was so offensive? A few years ago, someone managed to find ALL eleven of the items on ebay and posted pics. Not sure where it was but somebody had to do some homework. Even the pink satin San Diego pillow... and the naked lady clock, although it wasn't quite what I had pictured.

THIS IS SURPRISINGLY HILARIOUSLY FUNNY

I would exchange everything except the naked lady with a clock where the belly should be and the Japanese transister radio. Also the item that works on T.V. but not at home must have been bought from Ron Papeel.

Maybe he had the lyrics in on the stand in front of him. I'm not sure what you call it.

I'm a big fan of Alan Sherman. What a funny and intelligent man. He wrote and performed so many.... This kind of comedy is loooong gone and now replaced with expletives and gutter language. What a loss.

Were the gifts mentioned in this version of the song available year round or only at Christmas?

That Japanese transistor radio sounds like something my dad would buy...today! [:\
@sumgai79 ай бұрын
I forgot about that! : when I was about 7 (that'd be in 1973), I DID have this little cube radio ... and it was in a leather case with perforations ... and it had an extensible antenna sticking out the side. DANG! (It wasn't until about 6 years later that I discovered my dad's Allan Sherman records (kids, I'll explain "records" later, unless you're hipsters in which case "vinyl" is back) - but forgot all about my "Jap..anese...transis...tor .... radi-oooooo". ♫
