Him forgetting the words was almost the funniest part of this song. The guy was hilarious.

Warmth to my heart of happier times. My family of four kids and two parents would listen to this album on our console stereo and laugh with shared joy. I am the last of my family alive. Thank you for this loving memory of my family.

That's such a lovely image you have described. I suspect that you are a lovely person 😊

Haha. As a child [1960s] we had the album where he's buried in nuts. Maybe his only album. I remembered Camp Granada and now to find the original and that Eight Foot Two tune. Timeless. Gets the 'Like', take care from Ontario, Canada...

I remember this song , very well. It was a very popular in the 70's .Allan Sherman was a an extremely funny and creative, clean cut comedian. I often wondered if he is still living .Tim.

I asked my Google Mini. It said he passed away in 1973 at age 48 😢😢😢 due to alcoholism, obesity and respiratory failure (that part I got from Wikipedia).

this looks like an AI generated perfomance of a live recording

Hey, Gen Z here, Who is Lenny Bruce? (Please don’t come after me the oldest reference I know is hardy and laurel and they were 20’s funny men)

Fellow Gen Z here. From what I found, he was a standup comedian back in the 1960s whose routine was, at the time, considered pretty obscene.
