Born with a severe hearing loss, I had always remembered getting my first true quality hearing aids at ten. My dad drove me home from the audiologist when it then started raining, my whole world opened up hearing clearly the pitter pattering of rain drops hitting the car windows. I was ecstatic! To this day I never tire of hearing rain in a car to sleeping in a camping tent in Algonquin Park. “Let it rain, let it pour, let it rain a whole lot more….texting from little ol’ Perth, Ontario!
