You and your "brothers" display a really positive vibe. You all are great role models for the sport of running. Plus, you show how much wholesome good fun young people can have if they put their minds to it. Enjoy your lives.

Looking forward to this one. Think they mentioned it on the last video, how they just got done with a really hard/good workout. L&L&N. Could you guys please comment more on altitude training for us sea-level folks and science behind it on a video? Like what's the equivalent difficulty increase per 1000 feet? Like if you run 4:10 in Flagstaff, all things being equal would you think you could easily run 4 flat at sea level? Thanks and take care.

I know it’s been a few months, but I think I can sort of explain it as I like at 7200ft elevation. As you go further up, the pressure of the atmosphere decreases, so the amount of air in a given area is lower. Basically, since there is less air in a given space, each breath brings in less oxygen, so your body has to be much more efficient when producing aerobic energy. This increase is also exponential, so going from 8000-9000 feet is a much greater difference than 1000-2000. Hope this helps!

I did a 17 mile long run with 12 miles at tempo effort at A-1 this morning and that was a solid effort there with all the hills there. The coolest part is crossing a section of down trees where a tornado came through almost 13 years ago and you can easily see it on satellite imagery moving almost due north.
