When our ancient ancestors made things, it never occurred to them that people would come along centuries or even thousands of years later and try to make sense of them. If it had, perhaps they’d have left some instruction manuals or explanations behind! In the absence of such assistance, we’re at a loss to explain many of the things left behind by our ancestors, as you’re about to see in this video.

There's more Effigy mounds in U.S. than most realize. Just about every state has them, but not all archeological sites become public knowledge because of looting risk.

No explanation is needed for why a merchant was digging into a mound. This is not odd from 1800's. If you understood public mindset you'd find people of all backgrounds, including children, were digging mounds. It's one of several destructive practices which lead to eventual destruction of approximately 90% of them. Mounds are technically pyramids, and people of 19th century understood that, and associated them with Egypt and treasure. Now plates apparently were a hoax, but considering around 2012 at a site in Virginia depictions of Egyptian deities, and figures reminiscent of Scythians were located by archeologists ancient sea travel seems it was happening. Site is Opequon Creek. Fndings are published online. Many out of place Artifacts have been found in U.S. which show we don't know Jack

wow! extra cool music: it is a Grateful Dead groove. Jerry García did pastoral albums like that. what is it ? available! a perfect background. listenable, ignorable, cyclic... thoughtful.

Please don't use this kind of background music again. It is very distracting and annoying.

Maybe the granite box in the pyramid is a sarcophagus and it's empty because the reincarnation of that person was successful 🤔

I'm not a mormon and disagree with them but u really took down the level of your production to juist announce the mormn's forged the plates and gave not fracts supporting your claim--it was pretty weak before when u had the christian church-- copying the birth from earlier Egyptian rock painting --i guess your hatred of other religons drove u from foolish to inane --was good up to that-- but u got me laughing at u--at the end --0thanks for that

My name is William, I live in Alabama. I had to medically retire. I bought a Bounty Hunter Tracker 4 metal detector and went out artifact hunting. What would a person do if they found some out of place artifacts? The stuff I'm speaking of appears to be paleo Hebrew. I have pictures and a lot of stuff that goes with these artifacts. I just really wonder who I would speak to About this. I've tried to speak to the Alabama State archaeologists in Montgomery. That didn't go too well. I've got a video I'm working on for KZfaq. Is there anyone that you know of that knows about paleo Hebrew artifacts
