3:53 is only mostly true. The balls weigh as much as "regular enemies", but when Lemmy is giant, the balls act like "large enemies", so they can trip P switches.

1)Frog Mario and frog Luigi have the same sprite except when they are in multiplayer. 2)If two players with the super acorn grab onto two one-way facing themselves, and then slide down, they will slide on eachother? 3) You can carry the baby bloopers of a blooper nanny with the SMB2 Mushroom, or at least stand on them

Tested all of these and the answers are: 1) Yes they do. 2) Nope, the one on top bounces of the player on the bottom. 3) No, you bounce off of them.

So with the P Balloon, you can trigger flimsy lifts and seesaws, but it doesn't count as touching the ground? But running on water does count as touching the ground? That makes no sense

Yea, and appearently with the SMB2 mushroom standing on enemies, which are not ground, counts as touching the ground.

That is because the game doesn't count contact with solid objects and standing on ground (or whatever, like water) as the same

@@magicalgio I think something counts as ground if the player can have a standing/walking/running animation on it. It makes sense in terms of ground as in platform, but not in terms of ground as in a solid block.

I think the Ice Flower would've been great, imagine a level where you need to freeze an Enemy you couldn't pick up originally, pick up the Frozen Enemy, and then take the Enemy to a place where you need it, like an unreachable cliff, or to throw at a P Switch you can't press, I think the possibilities would be crazy with an Ice Flower, kinda sucks that we're probably not getting any more updates, but I'm pretty content with what we have now, this game just made the original Mario Maker just look like a little demo of what's to come, don't forget we got slopes, and now worlds! Nintendo may not listen all the time, but they definitely do every once in awhile.

You can twirl AND glide in the air with the new gliding suit by holding an item. Normally using the trigger causes the upwards move but if you hold an item you can move horizontally nearly the whole length of the map.

Hello Looygi, I think i found something that's a *BIG* game changer. If you get a running start, and throw a Koopa Shell (as SMB2 Luigi), the shell goes _way_ faster. I want to see you try this yourself, and perhaps even make a level that could incorporate this mechanic, like riding the shell past a big jump or something like that. Thanks!

dude these give such cool ideas! Thank you! Although I really have to question some of Nintendo's choices... Like I wonder if you can make the two whirl wind guys on sides of a pipe, so you can only go down the pipe as Frog Mario like in SMB3. It looks like if you just had it ON the pipe, the answer is no. It's also surprising that Roy's stomp from the ceiling doesn't activate switches..

The question at 3:40 actually is yes, and I knew that before watching the vid because, in my boss rush level, there's a little 2 block high doorway. In the Morton fight, if you get a good look, the fireball that moves towards the next room can ride up the wall and across the ceiling.

It's to prevent levels from being impossible with other characters. Nintendo in the first version of the game made the characters had a small difference between shooting fireballs and people milked the crap out of that single thing made made tons of contraptions and levels so if a single pixel character difference is enough for that, the luigi's high jump would destroy this game.

SMB2 Mushroom jumps whenever you jump, Frog Suit jumps randomly left or right no matter where you stand, P-Balloon runs away from you while spinning in circles, Super Acorn you already know. The Phanto doesn't change at all 2. It will continue swimming after it stops. 3. Yes you will be able. 4. Nothing changes. 5. Yes they will.

I found out something interesting about Mechakoopas. First as I expected, they can have lava rise over them and go down without killing them like dry bones, as both are immune to fire. Heres the interesting one though. In super Mario world theme you can kick a mechakoopa up to an on and off switch and it will activate ( e.g the buttons will switch on and off), but if you try to throw a mechakoopa into the side of an on and off switch, it doesn't! Not like a shell would.

Morton's fireballs also scale objects put on the cieling and walls. If a question block is on the wall, it goes around it for example.

Here’s something to investigate: the new on/off trampolines are slightly lower than a typical block. And, in the off state they work as semi-solids. I’m not sure what this could be used for but surely something, right?

The reason Roy's fall is less capable is because it's a, well, it's a fall from a ceiling. Roy is thicc, but he just can't think like Morton, who went to Koopa Kollege like Ludwig, and both excelled in different fields.
