My biggest worry is if the vinyl messes with any camera or sensors or anything?

The vinyl won't be wrapped on any cameras so no worries there. And it won't affect sensors since it's so thin. PPF, however, is thicker, so it gets cut out around the sensors.

I am in the process of getting my car vinyl wrapped. The cost for a full body wrapped for my Model Y was 2200. I felt like was a good price he came to my home we talked this over. We did a walk through he explained the process. Okay my car is 2 weeks old and very well kept. I dropped my vehicle off on a Wednesday and was told to come pick it up on Friday at 6pm. When I got there the owner who text me stated that he will meet me was not there. My car was dirty finger prints on the glass the body ...foots prints all over my brand new mats. It was just unprofessional. His Son was there and told me they normally do not detail I can just go to a car. I swear I was looking about as if I were being punked. I said no, called the owner and stated everything wrong . And I will pick it up tomorrow with you present and every thing done. I specifically asked for a portion of my door panel to be wrapped he agreed and that was not done. An When I tell you my brand new baby was filthy in the dam shop. I feel hurt. Please let me know what to look for. Let me know if I was suppose to except the vehicle that way or not. In the end I felt if I dropped my vehicle off in mint condition I should pick it up as such. I am due to get the vehicle today. Please let me know if I am wrong. PS they said the could not open the drunk but somehow they managed to wrap it. Is that possible? 🤔

I’m sorry you are going through this. All wrappers should take precaution when wrapping any vehicle and shouldn’t expect to pick it up dirty. We always do a inspection before pick up. I’d always make sure that the shop has done quite a few of Teslas before committing. 2200 is on the low side. So I would ask questions regarding their experience on wrapping Teslas.

@@tesbros I thank you. However I do have another question. What does it mean when you see bubbles in the vinyl? I heard it meant the car wasn't properly cleaned please let me know and secondly, have you ever heard of any issues working with Hexxi Gloss White Rainbow?

@@charlenebutler7385 it typically means they didn’t use enough pressure on the squeegee and they didn’t post heat after installation. HEXIS especially needs post heat to activate it. I mainly do 3M and Avery and don’t have experience in that specific color.

@@tesbros is this worth fixing? He is offering a refund or a re-wrap. I do not trust him anymore to work with I truly want to ensure the paint underneath is still in perfect condition

It's hard for me to give advice on this matter but the fact that he's offering you a refund or re-wrap means they're willing to make it right. It's up to you whether you want to give them another chance.
