This video seems to ignore that many people use their phone as their alarm clock so how can you truly avoid your phone. It’s not always easy to sleep earlier so you naturally wake up earlier. For some people, if they don’t eat before getting ready, they just don’t have the time. What about when you just don’t feel alert for hours after even if you follow all their recommendations. Then does that make tea or coffee in the morning an ok thing to do. I hate these one size fits all attitude videos.

Maybe end your showers at a cooler temperature, but I think starting it warm is good for opening up your pores and relaxing stiff muscles after stretching. Also, my issue is feeling agitated, anxious, and somewhat in shock in the morning. I think I want a relaxing warm shower to help me act less frantic and neurotic after getting out of bed. I agree I need to hit the snooze button less, but it's hard for me to wake naturally and be ready to get up at first sound when I may not have had adequate sleep the night before, or I'm required to get up before sunrise.

The most important thing I do is get up MUCH earlier than I need to, to get to work on time. I give myself two or three hours before I need to leave the house. Yes, it means going to bed earlier, but hey. It also removes the need to rush around. I am a morning person, so I often get several things done before I go to work. This works for me. When I get home from work, I just want to chill out.

I heard someone say that snoozing means your first decision of your day is to say that you are not going to do what you told yourself the day before you would do. That hit home for me, as that means you start the day allready failing. The same goes with making your bed. Plus it is so true that you rarely feel more awake/well slept after snoozing versus getting up straight away.

Nice. Helpful. I already do most, but the others once in awhile, and this will encourage me to keep it up regularly--like the stretching, and exercise. (For many years, I always ran in the morning...at 70 I stopped. But I miss it--maybe a fast walk will be the thing.) The waiting to drink coffee I found out on my own; the drinking with lemon also. I find I like warm (not hot) water first thing.

This is an awesome subject I agree with a lot of these points I always wake up around the same time I'm retired but I wake up at the same time I did like I was going to work I stretch a little bit before I get out of bed like you stated I go into brush my teeth and then come back to make my bed and get on my knees and thank God for opening my eyes to see another beautiful morning and then I play my favorite music usually jazz as I get ready to go to the gym take my supplements drink water lots of water get dressed and head out to the gym if I stay home I do watch television at about 8:00 to about 11:00 and then start my day but that's rare it's usually a rest my body day if it's aching from training but this is a great subject matter and I'm living my best life thanks to hard work lots of blessings from God and being kind to others most of the time LOL great job 🙏👍💪😎

No matter what I'm always on time. I make my bed soon after I get up but I've told that on a hot nights when you sweat it's better air the bed. I know it's logical enough but i 'm in the habit of making bed cos then you're satisfied that your bed looks better & tidy. I hate being untidy. Before I go to bed starting with shining my boots I've my clothes all ready for the mornings.I don't mind skipping my B'fast cos' I can always have an early lunch. I'm happy with a cup of tea & then last look in the mirror & I hop in the car.I run the the car thru' the car wash on my way home & also make sure that my tank is full. I can go on & on but I still think I'm not perfect. Maybe, one day I'll be superperfect.Cheers. Thanks for the video.

Love all the perfect looking people and homes. I don’t think most of us look like that in the morning.I pull back my sheets to expose to sun and dry out so there’s no fungus or mites. I don’t care what the so called experts say. I want a dry bed. I am very neat and orderly but my bedroom is upstairs and nobody sees it. It’s not a priority and doesn’t affect me in any way.

@@alexander1055 You need to educate yourself, I disagree with both of you. First lets state the obvious, you are very naive to train in a empty stomach. I won't go in to all the science but how do you expect to put out energy when your body has no energy to use? Guess what your body uses when there is no fuel? That's right your muscles, assuming if you even have any. Pretty much common sense. But few people posses common sense. The other guy saying you need two meals, is ridiculous, we don't burn as much energy as people think during training sessions. The only time you seriously consume a lot of energy is during HIIT. And very few people have the drive and courage to push themselves that hard. I am a calisthenics/gymnastics athlete and use HIIT for a long time and educate myself constantly in the physiology and biology of the body. I have some understanding on what/when to eat and how to train.

Dental research runs counter to this. The most acidic time in your mouth is when you first wake up and your mouth is dry. Wait until saliva, not water, has refreshed your mouth for at least 30 minutes. Always clean between teeth before brushing, ideally with floss because it cleans under the gumline further when used with effective technique. Food bits from breakfast are good to remove but that's not the most important thing to remove from your teeth (the scum coating the gumline is). I'm a 25-year dental hygienist in both general practice offices and in periodontal therapy treating advanced jawbone and gum infection.

@downbntout
@downbntout 5 жыл бұрын
Mercedes Corretjer Mercedes, I hear your frustration. It's easy to use floss and not get results, cuz it's all in the technique. Ask your dental hygienist to observe as you floss and get the little tweaks that make the difference. Be sure you are using a brush that is comfortable as you dig into the gumline to clean out the zone just under the gums. You will be able to stop having dental problems. I grew up with cavities all over and I learned what wasn't the best technique. It only took small upgrades. Don't lose hope cuz it's true, even you will have carefree checkups!

There is absolutely no real reason to check your phone first thing in the morning. If someone has experienced a medical emergency they will call a Dr or visit the ER. If someone has died they will still be dead in an hour. What is so important you can't wait a liitle bit and take time for yourself and your own wellbeing?

I actually enjoy waking up early. Lol I'm odd. But I think that sleeping in late, for me, wastes away the rest of my day and it takes away the time I have for living the life and taking the opportunities I get every day. And, I take my showers at night. Oooh, and another thing I have: set your alarm to an upbeat song you love; I wake up to a Hamilton song, mostly Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down), every morning, to energize me. And, if you have an Amazon Alexa, set an alarm on that. I set my alarm on mine to that song every morning, so I can still be up on time and feel as energized as possible for me, without having to look at my phone first thing in the morning.
