I love how Laura stood right up to Mrs. Oleson about the price of the eggs and did so like a lady. It reminds me of the first time Laura's Ma did business with Mrs. Oleson....she had brown eggs and Mrs. Oleson wanted to pay her less money for the brown eggs and Ma did the same thing...she sold the brown eggs to Mr. Nelson for 3 cents more than what Mrs. Oleson gave her and put the other woman in her place. lol

the thing that appealed to me was the realism in the show, it might sound trite in todays world but for a moment it let you feel something that was a basis to humanity, and it changed you in some small way, maybe you appreciated more some part of what you have or you felt less guarded when interacting with the people around you. to me the show represented the humanity we all accept in our lives yet the show showed us we are more human than we let on for others to see. does this make any sense? i still get a warm feeling after watching and i want to share it with others. theres some hope for all of us.

I watched them when I was a child decades ago. Still can't hold my tears when I watch them again.

I came here to hear Laura's real voice as the TV series was dubbed in Greece (although most foreign films/series are subtitled). I think Laura is the daughter we would all love to have !! Simply adorable!

I love how every other one is ‘The boss of Nellie’ 😂 But two you may have forgotten about were when Laura pushed Nellie down the hill while Nellie was faking being in a wheelchair! And where Mary god smacked Bubba Gallender with her lunch pail! Knocked him clear off his feet!

Every evening after school I’d watch Little House and Star Trek The Next Generation reruns lol someone at the tv station def had a sense of humor lol Im a huge Trekkie today and I still love Little House ❤

In the scene where Mary slapped Nellie (at about the 4:24 to 4:30 mark), it was suppose to be a physical fight, but the relationship between Melissa Sue Anderson (the real Nellie Olsen) and Alison Arngrim was so bad that the producers thought a real physical fight would breakout after Melissa Sue threatened to physically harm Alison, that they decided to just go with a slap.

This show is one of the most underrated shows of all time. There was so much to learn from just the kids! It’s the greatest show of all time and I wish Laura had gotten to watch it! See how her hard work paid off!

I can see Albert and Laura are more or less similar, no wonder they got along so well.

I'm surprised it didn't include the scene where Mary and Laura saved the sackful of puppies from drowning.

They should have included the scene where Mary walloped Bubba Gallagher, the school bully.
