Yeah, I can see that. Chaotic alignment means he goes against the current order, in this case a world ruled by humanity. I'd argue that he starts as minor chaotic evil, since by acting as a weapon for Dracula he was limited to killing and destruction, but by embracing a desire to rebuild off of destruction he transitioned into neutral alignment

The ring basically bound him to her, and then her sisters whom she gave controlling rings to also. Honestly Lenore is my favorite character out of all of them. I think she ended up truly caring for Hector (not just as a pet,) but was torn between her loyalty and love for her sisters and for him in the end. Plus, out of all the characters, she chose her death. She, unlike Hector, would not allow herself to be imprisoned for the rest of her life, no matter who would be her jailor and so, she waited for the sunrise entirely of her own volition and even showed in her last few moments that she did care about Hector by making a reference to a fleeting moment between them when she first let him outside. Anyways, most marriages aren't between five people. XD

@@itonieshi obviously you never heard of polygamy. As for the rest I do agree in fact that's what makes her an interesting character. She has the qualities of an ideal villain especially being manipulative, after all on multiple occasions she describes herself as a diplomat. Which is a clever way of saying to Hector she has an agenda but he is probably not going to figure it out until it's too late. However, she is still a creature who attaches herself. So in many ways she is closer to Dracula then she is to Carmella who is a Psychopath for all intents and purposes. But that is both her strength and her weakness.

@@asgaiyawaya3973 I did mention "Most" xD But yes, unfortunately Hector is too.. Childlike to understand what she is talking about when it comes to being a diplomat and whatnot. She even point-blank explains it to him and he hardly puts any thought into things to the point that SHE is the one that gets him to a situation of being almost equal to her and her sisters when it really comes down to it. It wasn't as if any of the other vampires had authority over him and he basically had free reign to do whatever he wanted as long as he was also doing what he was supposed to be doing for them. People can argue the "well he was still a slave" stance but he wasn't really treated as one aside from by Carmilla beforehand (and that was more of being treated as a prisoner than a slave, which he was.) Even vampires that weren't the top four listened to him and he CLEARLY had the ability to do whatever he wanted without being watched over like a hawk (which was literally Carmilla's downfall.) Lenore barely did anything to actually manipulate Hector other than treat him as if he were a potential business partner with equal power. Even then she went above and beyond in his favor, to the point of standing up to her sisters (more importantly Carmilla,) about upholding the side of the deal she negotiated for them.

@@itonieshi Agreed that Hector dug his own grave by not reading between the lines. But I think it depends on what you mean by manipulative because Lenore constantly used the soft approach to get Hector vulnerable. Starting with basic needs, his dignity being one, then slowly giving him his self back, that is manipulation in the sense that when you are in an environment where you are stripped of everything your needs become leverage. Obviously for this to be used to manipulate everything can't be given back to you all at once. It wouldn't work at all, however, given in stages you can break down a person's guard leaving him vulnerable for further manipulation. In other words, you give someone enough to expect more then they will have no reason not to trust you. See that's why I believe Lenore was manipulating Hector it only looked like nothing because it was done through Hector's needs. Even his need for companionship. Now maybe in the end Lenore was discarded because her task was done but up until then make no mistake that was manipulation. In fact I have to give the screenwriter credit he did his homework.
