I very distinctly remember being in elementary school when I learned about the powers of aloe vera. It was the magical ingredient that could help soothe a sunburn - and it was a plant. I found it odd, and that is smelled weird, but I vividly remember being told to stay away from the packaged green-goo labeled "aloe vera gel" at the store and opt for the real thing.
Most everyone knows that aloe has great healing properties, so yes, it is great for sunburns, but it can also help heal a variety of other things, from acne and scars. It's even been known to help grow longer lashes when mixed with castor oil. And adding it into a face mask is a sure-fire way to calm inflamed, irritated skin.

I use 92% aloe vera gel with 2 drops of tea tree oil as a night cream. Its a great moisturizer for those who have oily skin with pimples or acne :)

You can also put chunks of the gel in cucumber water! It's so good and gives you little crunchy bits of goodness when you drink it. Also if you have problems with heat in the summer the cucumber works like a tiny air conditioner inside of your body. It cools you from the inside out! Aloe and cucumber combined works wonders on your skin and helps with hydration.

If you're someone who is allergic to mosquitoes and swell up really bad like me, use aloe vera. My friends mom sliced a piece of the plant off and rubbed it on my humongous bites. The itching instantly stopped that night and the next morning, the swelling went down and the bite was dried up. She's the real mvp 😭 but ill definitely try aloe vera on my face. My acne scars just wont go away!

Grew up in the Caribbean, my god parents have been using aloe vera leaves since 1973. Happy everyone is catching up. I have tones of info and different ways to use it. It works, always have and for medicinal use as well. Happy to know the 20th century is finally recognizing the multiple benefits of aloe and my native land Jamaica for our amazing real castor oil as well. Good luck. Great video. I didn't know aloe vera could do so much. I just bought 92% aloe vera gel then mixed 1tbsp of aloe vera gel + 2tbsp of organic castor oil + 2 capsules of Vit. E then apply it on my scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes. I also used it as a lotion after my bath and it's so perfect.

I love it.. I have been using aloe vera for nearly one month, I cut up a piece every day and apply it to my face and neck area.. the results are amazing! i use it day and night.. my skin feels tight.. smooths out the wrinkles that were so evident! woohoo! now I cannot be with out it.. Oh! and I use it for my hair.. I blend some and apply it to my hair and leave it on til next day and wash it off.. Wow.. my hair feels so good and it feels stronger!! ugh! My best friend! :) Highly recommend it!

do you wash your hair the next day with shampoo or just rinse off? also, do you apply moisturizer and sunscreen etc after applying aloe vera gel?

I wash my hair first with shampoo..then I allow my hair to be damp, then I add the aloe vera rub in well including scalp. tie it up use a shower cap to sleep with it and in the morning I just rinse it out and nothing more.. :)

Aloe Vera really does work wonders. I had flaky dry oily skin and I put a layer on every time i got out of the shower and let it dry up and leave it on until my next shower which isn't long and it made my skin smooth, moisturized without the oily feeling, and it would get rid of my puffy eyes in the morning. I have seen lash growth also just with the aloe Vera gel. Highly recommend. If you buy it from the store already made make sure it doesn't have a lot of added stuff in it. I also use it as shaving cream and that works and it does help your hair. It helps everything!! 😂😂

i hope you’re gonna see this and reply 😂 i have superr dry flaky skin on my forehead and chin but i saw some people say that aloe made their face very dry so i don’t wanna make it worse :( did it make it dry and then better after a couple of weeks or what?

Every night, I just wash my face and apply fresh aloe all over the face. After letting it dry you can continue with your night routine but i personally don't. It works wonders. Under eye wrinkles, eye bags, acne scars, tans, sun burns, and dry skin. If you want to know i have 2 aloe plants in my apartment. I dont have soil for them but just a cup of water. They grow roots in the water. I dont recommend aloe jels and creams, 100% aloe is always good. Good luck.

I've been an aloe grower for a long time... started at 21 and still growing for wholesale and retail at 63. I can attest to the bennies of the plant and I love it! This is a great video to help educate others. Awesome!

for anyone who’s wondering, I’ve been using aloe vera all over my face every night for around two months now and it is the best thing for fresh acne and acne scarring. Also, my lashes and brows have never been stronger and thicker! It really does work for lashes and brows.

I have to do it daily! But tbh after the first week of doing it everyday it's like my body is obsessed with it so I have to do it daily!! Do it right after a steamy shower, also get just the aloe Vera GEL and coconut oil and blend it then put it in ice cubes! Then rub all over body, if you have acne it will disappear in 3 days

I use aloe by itself on my face after cleansing and moisturizing. I also use it on my eyelashes eyebrows and hair and on any wounds or inflammation/irritations that I may have. I also drink it from time to time.

I swear by my routine of Aloe gel with 3-4 drops of Rosehip seed oil and it's my perfect day cream/serum/moisturiser. Slather some sunscreen after about 10-12minutes and I am good to go.

IMPORTANT PSA!!! Make sure to strain your aloe vera before use if you blend it. If you don't there will be small balls and chunks of it in your hair and it will be really hard to get out.

One time i stubbed my toe and it was bad i mean BAD it hurt so much and i remembered we have a very very small aloe vera plant so i cut of a leaf and god mercy there was a tiny bit of gel in there so what i did was i scooped out the gel then i immediately put it into hot water surrounded by plastic wrap by the way and put it into hot water for 2 minutes then i took it out rubbed it on my foot and it was amazing know i have a super big aloe plant so i wonder what other things i will come up with in the fuuture and if your still reading thank you as i know there are many people that would skip this comment due to how long it is THANK YOU

To know if you really have an aloe vera type of aloe, get an aloe plant, but if you already have, cut it (one leaf) and if it has that slimy texture/consistency, its an aloe vera type of aloe! you can test it by cutting it, just cut 2 small pieces of the aloe plant you cut already, then try putting it both together, and if its slimy then its an aloe vera aloe, and also try squishing it to see if that slimy gel is there, then you would know its an aloe vera type of aloe.

Tlan Hlui , I dont think , but you can make a natural scrub for your lips like olive oil with brown sugar and start scrubbing but gently and then mix cornstarch with milk and yoghurt together and and apply it for the 20 minutes keep doing thise steps and I hope it'll work for you 😊 NOTE: Try the scrubbing method twice a week and the lip mask too.

Vivek Perbhoo , aloe vera gives a shine and strengthens your hair but it doesn't treat grey hair. You can use henna to get rid of grey hair (henna is a natural ingredient 100% natural) I hope this helped you. 😊
