I just ordered these pencils after hearing you talk about them in so many videos. I can't wait to get them in the mail and put them in order! I have been organizing art supplies by color since I was a young child. I would get a box of Crayola crayons, carefully dump them out, and put them in order by color. I had to share supplies with a younger brother and sister. My brother appreciated my order for the crayons, but my sister, being the free-spirit that she is, would constantly mess up my order. Fun fact - my favorite Crayola crayon color as a child was Cerulean. I also had most of the color names memorized. Thanks again for putting these in order and sharing the unique color name translations. I love them!

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate this video. I started organising the 160 set yesterday. So far I've grouped the colours in to yellow/yellow-green/ green etc etc. Next it's to put those in order, i'll probably work on one or two parts of the wheel each day to save myself from being overwhelmed. But visually, just looking at your case it helps me a great deal! Thank you so much, Pamela! 🥰💖. I laughed so hard at the pencil shade you couldn't determine, i had the exact same issue wifh the exact same shade in the 160 set 😂🤣😆 I love the names, it makes me think of the Felissimo colour names ☺️

The best way to deal with those duller/less saturated colors that don't fit anywhere is make a section of 'muted' colors. I put mine between the full colors and the grays.

I just want to say no one should be envious of others for ANY reason, let alone art supplies - there's more problems out here in life! AND good art can be made with CHEAPER PENCILS like these, I have them and love them! The more expensive pencils are for PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS doing original work - not for coloring book art - so no one has to feel bad if they can't afford real expensive pencils JUST to color in coloring books! ALSO, if you can't afford all the new books there are a lot of free downloads! God bless everyone and I hope no one feels bad about themselves because others have more! That's not what counts in life!!

The boat itch quiet 6 is an awesome electric sharpener it has 6 different hole sizes I was able to sharpen all 120 pencils today , it stops when the pencil has a long sharp lead , it’s amazing I have never had anything break and not found a pencil that wouldnt fit,, thank you for all the hardwork this video and the chart

Hi Pamela. I received my 120 set of Brutfuner today. I am looking forward to swatching them. Thank you so much for putting them into a color family, I am going to follow your lead on this. You seem to have a great eye for organizing color famly. For anyone ordering these in Canada, they came on time and in good shape. The tin was a tiny bit dented in on the top, but the pencils seem fine, I will add a seperate comment later on to this if I find this not to be true after swatching. BTW, I ordered from amazon.ca

I had just commented on your Markart colored pencils video about how a lot of the same unique colors, along with the same numbers are in that set, and this set! And low-and-behold, check out 067 that gave you trouble here in the Markart set (N067), which funny enough, I also color ordered next to N031 😉

Very useful chart. Must have taken ages. I copied the numbers onto the sheet which came in the tin and swatched on there so that I can keep it in the tin. If I switch to a case at some point I might do it again and add names on a bigger sheet. The colours are very pretty. Very staining - erasing is not good - but I like them a lot. Amazing for the price.

I went and ordered this case in black today for my Brutfuners..I love these cases!

I so appreciate all the work you do with swatching and organizing. You did a wonderful thing with the Black Widows!. I have found that I compare the color to my Polys, lumies, and Derwent LF and I use those names (in that order) since I'm the most familiar with those. Of course, left BW alone... the names are just too unique (1/2 the fun!)

Especially with greens....there are the bright greens, the dull greens, the blue greens, and the olive greens. I recently got these pencils but was shocked when they came with English names for the colours. The names are nothing like the translation either. Unfortunately some colours are differently numbered as well. I had started to arrange them but half way saw that the colour was totally wrong.

I've found that occassionally the colour that goes down on the paper not only doesn't match the barrel colour, but it doesn't look like the lead colour as you look at it in the pencil.

How did you save the colour charts on your iPad? I bought the charts but have not been able to save all of them to the iPad only the first few on Apple Books, Sarah sent me the extra ones but for some reason I couldn’t add them to the others and they ‘saved’ but I have no idea where they are.

Good morning and thank you for all that you do for the Colored Pencil Art World. I love using my colored pencils and have been looking for an oil based pencils to use in my coloring books. Would someone who might read my post kindly water test both the black barrel and the square set of these pencils. I know they are not watercolor pencils, but some of the sets that I have purchased lately from Amazon, like the Schpirerr Farben 96 and 72 sets have moved a lot with water. They actually dissolve with water more like it. My Polys and Prismas don’t do this and an older set of the SF does not. How to test is lay down a medium heavy layer of color and then use water and a brush to see if the color moves around similar to water color pencils. I used water based products like Wink of Stella over some of the pictures and it does not work well at all. I am really interested in purchasing either one of these sets actually and would love to have this information instead of ordering another set and having to return them. Many thanks in advance for your help.
