I wouldn't put the grill on that truck, I like the original style grills with the bow tie. Maybe if you want to. Install it on one of your squares, make a few appearances with it on and then do a give away to a fan. That way you show it off for him, you use it and then kick it down the road to a fan that wants it

That's a good idea, ill keep it in mind. I'm pretty partial to the oem grilles myself.

Good video Chad. Quick question. If I wanted to source a SM465 for our project, what should I expect to pay? I know they’re not real desirable, but it seems like people want gold prices for old parts these days. Any info would be great. Thanks again for the content

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I’ll definitely keep an eye out then. I watched a recent video of yours when you showed how to remove the top cover, and reworked some of the shifter ends for smoother/quicker shifts. Have you ever totally rebuilt a SM465? If so, is there a video or a decent book for me to check out? Sorry for all of the questions

Don't know why people would fuss about a 305. You can get some horsepower out of one if you do it right. I built a 305 out of a caprice for the old 76 custom deluxe I had and a guy that used to live in my neighborhood, we helped him Frankenstein a 305 with some 400 parts we had to drop into a nova.
