For comparison, maybe you could try applying the powder (in very small amounts) with a sponge eyeshadow applicator (with pointed tip) and buffing it into the mould? Similar-ish to the process for applying pigment to nails to make a chrome effect. You then would have more control over where the pigment goes and u can miss some bits to allow some of the black to come through

Julie, I'd be interested in the 4 druzy mold. I don't see it in your ebay store. Your molds are much more sparkly than others that I can find here in the States, but shipping is so expensive from Austrailia, that I really can't afford this large one. 🙁 These are so pretty! I really love them.

In my opinion you don't need to black popping through! They're all gorgeous anytime you use interference pigments you need to use the black background to really make them pop like you did. I saw way more colors for the fairy dust then you were naming. I use that in making my jewelry it's one of my faves! They're all gorgeous thanks for sharing

@christineingram55

They are really pretty,a nice size too.,there seems more colour in the first ones you took out, but the others have more shine I think they had more of a prism effect to them,as they are basically clear.The others were black with colours in .That could have been why the difference in shine.I always use the clear glitter when I do cards as it picks up the colour underneath but sparkles really prettily 🥰

Really pretty Julie. That’s one very large mold so perhaps making one with maybe 10 in it would be more practical for us novices. Also, would love to see some reds, pinks, orange and yellow druzi crystals. Can you get those in chameleon powders? I prefer the bezel type bales so the back is hidden. 👍🏻🌺🌴

Beautiful Julie! I wonder if the black background with the white powder means the black powder would show better with a white background? I think when you did the clear over the pigment powder and then added the background it make the pigment powder clearer to see. Everything looks lovely though.

You are such a Rockstar in all you do! I'm so happy to have found you early on in your KZfaq career! Always inspiring, cheerful, and optomistic. I just love you! I believe the idea with super chameleons is that they color shift to at least 3 colors. Usually. And I do love seeing black through some spots. Plain black crystals are also lovely, but what you have here is perfection! I have in mind to make a very large mold with all sorts of irregular druzy "islands" some with straight edges on one side, some with curved edges on one side, and some with no regular edges. Could be used for all sorts of inserts. And I think maybe a long drop shaped mold with a druzy center would be gorgeous too. Also want to try making a "pile of bubbles" look using various sizes of no-hole beads! See how you inspire me?
