I grew up with a brand new 1960 Sprite my Dad bought....learned to drive on it....loved that car.

Had a 61 Bugeye Sprite in 1971, high school car. Loved it. Wish I still had it.

1275 with the older lighter bodies make a very big difference. Driven many back in the day. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

I just picked up a barn find just like this and I'm so excited to get to work on her.

Looks just like mine! Well the paint looks nicer, but same colours, wheels etc.

Can you also add links in the description? Your website is so hard to navigate. I always watch your videos then struggle to fumble through the website to find whatever the video was about 🤣
Sorry you are having trouble! The top row of the home page has current inventory, so if you are looking for current inventory, you'll find it on the home page right at the top where it is easy to find. Once this car sells, it moves to the "sold Bugeyes category," and the sold cars are harder to find...

I wonder how the stock air cleaners were made to fit. I have a 1275 in mine and the stock cleaners hit the bonnet

Some manifolds have different angles on the faces, which can emphasise the height further away from the engine, possibly that is the reason

Yes, if you have the wrong manifold, that would change things, but the picture of this engine is correct for the air cleaners shown. Your best option is the K and N filters we sell, these fit all Bugeyes and are superior...bugeyeguyparts.com/products/k-n-air-filters-for-hs2-carburetors

This is as far as you need to tune these, those who put a V8 in them need their arse slapped
