I personally got shot in the face/neck/head by a negligent hunter during a pheasant hunt out in South Dakota years ago while wearing amber lens Z87+ safety glasses. It was a 12ga with #5 shot at about 50 yards. One of the pellets hit my glasses right in front of my eye and stopped it from penetrating. Saved my eye for sure. Had to get several other pellets dug out of my face/neck at the hospital, which was not a fun experience. I'll never go in the field or shoot without good eye pro. For context, it was clear blue skies, and I was also wearing blaze orange vest and cap, while standing in shin-high corn stalks in an open field...

Were those glasses Z87, or Z87+? I would love to see you do a longer video shooting various safety glasses: Z87, Z87+, MIL-SPEC MIL PRF 32432 Ballistic, and maybe run of the mill Oakleys, which don't have a rating, but just have the Oakley "our glasses are impact rated" statement. I just recently went to prescription shooting glasses, and in my research learned that you cannot get the MILSPEC ballistic rating in prescription lenses. The best you can get is the Z87+ equivalent. I think the stamp on my lenses is PS+.
