Once again a bad cop being allowed to resign before being fired. This video shows a complete contempt of the whole justice system. Now the chief of the jail staff has added to that contempt and should also be fired, without being allowed to resign.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but in his arrest video he tells the arresting officers he is being arrested on the day before his retirement. They should have all been fired. They should also lose their certification so they aren't immediately hired in the next town over, but that will never happen.

Police officer's "professional courtesy" should be things like being given a police escort to the hospital when your wife is about to deliver. Or getting free tickets to the Fireman's Ball. It shouldn't mean that guilty cops are not punished the same as everybody else. That is wha we call CORRUPTION, and the other cops who participate are criminals.

This is what happens when you let the cats guard the cream. This now opens the door too. How many times has this staff done similar violations? At the ease that all the people in charge were acting. It can’t be the first time they violated society trust in them.

The "thin blue line" represents them vs everyone else. The American citizen is below them and they can do whatever they like. They need to be held accountable and not by their own.

Preferential treatment should not be allowed. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. Should be put in main stream, let him pay for his mistakes.
