ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಾದ ಹಲವು ತಪ್ಪುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 'ಕಳೆನಾಶಕ' ಗಳ ಯತ್ತೇಚ್ಚ ಬಳಕೆ; ಅದರಿಂದ 80 % ಮಣ್ಣು ನಿರ್ಜೀವವಾಯ್ತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳೂ ಸಹ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನೇ ತೆರೆದು ಈ ಕಳೆನಾಶಕಗಳನ್ನ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ದುರಂತವೇ ಸರಿ.

I can see he is doing shallow ploughing. Can we avoid ploughing? Bible speaks about ploughing as good. Besides, I have thousands of red ants, that bites us very badly when we move around farm. How to avoid ants naturally?

Benjamin, spray bitter gourd around the property and on tree trunks and tree base, plants etc. Dry 10 bitter gourds in sun for seven days(3 days if very hot sun), powder them. You can find them in Indian stores. Slit 5 fresh and crush 5 dried cayenne peppers. Mix all in 1 gallon water, let rest for overnight, filter, dilute 1:10 and spray. Better grow a few bitter gourd plants in your land. Keeping ants away is a never ending job. You can use, bitter gourd leaves and stem too in paste form for the spray.

I've left my land for natural farming. Huge Bermuda grass has sprung up. Had introduced a pair of sheep to eat, but still these are huge in number. Does it kill the trees I've planted? I have salty water unfortunately for my land.
